Belief in God Creation/evolution Meaning of life

What I believe, in song

This is what I believe.

YahshuaI don’t believe in evolution. It is one of the biggest lies ever told. God, YAHWEH, Jehovah, Yahshua, the great I AM created everything. He created life on Earth – the only place it exists in the Universe. He created us with a plan and purpose.

Yahshua HebrewGod revealed His plan in the Bible. It is not only a history book but the book of Life, preserved by a Sovereign God.  His name is Jesus, the word being derived from the Hebrew word “Yahshua,” meaning “Yah-is our-salvation” or “YAHWEH is our salvation.”

When Yahshua (Jesus) asked his disciple Simon Peter who He was,

… Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. (John 6:68,69)

Approximately 6000 years ago, God originally created a perfect paradise but Adam and Eve, the first two created humans rebelled against God and lost their innocence when they sinned. As their direct offspring, this original sin was passed to all humans. Because of Adam’s sin God cursed the world and the Creation was corrupted in different ways as God withdrew some of His providential sustaining power. This is when carnivory began, and pain and difficulties began. Most importantly death entered the world—death is the product of sin.  Then 1656 years after the Creation the world of humans had grown so bad and so violent that God sent a global flood, to destroy nearly all humans, to start again. Only 8 humans survived on the Ark—Noah, his wife, their 3 sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth and their wives—they repopulated the world. The Flood left billions of fossils, the evidence of dead things in sedimentary layers all over the Earth.  Remember the judgments of God! Man has no excuse.

I believe Jesus Christ is the Creator of the Universe and He came to Earth and lived as both fully man and fully God that He might redeem those who trust in Him to live eternally with Him. He came and died a horrible death on that Roman cross to take our sins and pay the penalty we deserve so that God’s justice would be satisfied. He died and on the third day He rose from the dead. Only God has the power over death. He broke the power of the Curse and Death, which was the result of Adam’s sin.  Our debt to God is fully paid—for those who repent (turn their hearts to God) and trust in Him.

Turn to Christ, who said:

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. (John 10:9)

All that the Father gives me shall come to me; and him that comes to me I will in no wise cast out. (John 6:37)
