Inflation—all in the ‘Dark’

The Higgs boson messes with cosmic inflation

“It took $10 billion, the world’s largest particle accelerator and decades of research, but now scientists are convinced: The universe doesn’t exist.” [emphasis added]

Or so says a web news article1 titled “It’s okay. Nothing really matters. We don’t actually exist, anyway. Or so the Higgs Boson particle suggests.” Well, what’s this all about?

Evolution’s Achilles’ Heels, the Book

This has been a long time in the making! This powerful book exposes the fatal flaws of evolutionary thinking. Like no other work that I am aware of, it is authored by nine Ph.D. scientists, including myself, to produce a coordinated, coherent, powerful argument. All of the authors received their doctorates from similar secular universities as their evolutionary counterparts. Each is a specialist in a field relevant to the subject written about: Natural selection, origin of life, geology, genetics, radiometric dating, the fossil record, cosmology, and ethics.

Cancer in our society III: Lebanonisation of France

15% of the nation of France is now Muslim.  Currently we read of and see reports of racism against white French nationals, and for the first time since World War II an anti-Semitic pogrom. July 20th was also the anniversary of the “Vel d’Hiv Round-up”. This was the mass arrest of Jews in Paris in 1942 by the French police under the supervision of the Nazis. Kristallnacht “Crystal Night” was the night of November 9–10, 1938, when German Nazis attacked Jewish persons and property. Is this happening again?

From an evolution-believing atheist to a born-again Christian—my testimony Part I

In 1952, I was born in Manjimup, a small country town in the South West of Western Australia, but as my parents divorced early in my life I went to several different schools, finally completing high school in Perth. In my teen years I thought I was an atheist. But I soon found out that God had my number and He was after me. I studied mathematics, chemistry, physics, and cosmology.

I was not brought up in a “Christian” family and received a very secular education, but did attend Sunday school, and, back then Scripture classes were taught in the public schools. We even prayed the Lord’s Prayer every morning at school assembly. How times have changed.

One interesting thing I do remember though from very young.  When I was about 8 or 9 years old I heard my father ask my mother the question, “Who was Cain’s wife?” In the book of Genesis one of the sons of Adam and Eve, Cain, killed his brother Abel, and we don’t read much about his life after that except the scripture tells us Cain took a wife, and had children. Well, who was she? This question not having a logical answer, to my father, meant that the Bible must be wrong. See the importance of good foundational biblical teaching, early in the lives of our children?

Cancer in our society II: Sex in Islam

Ann Barnhardt speaking before the Colorado Patriots. VIEWER DISCRETION: Subject not for children.

Pedophilia, incest, bestiality, temporary marriages (prostitution) are accepted ‘legal’ practices in Islam. She speaks of the genetic damage done in the Islamic community because they marry such close relatives–cousins, even first cousins marrying first cousins. This then leads to a very high probability of passing of genetic defects (mutations) that have come from the grandparents, since both cousins would share the same grandparents.

Soft squishy tissue in 80 million year old dinosaur bones?

mary_schweitzer
Dr Mary Schweitzer even identified the gender of a dinosaur from the bone tissue from its femur. http://serc.carleton.edu/research_education/paleontology/inthenews.html

This video clip is taken from a “60 Minutes” program. Dr Mary Schweitzer discovered flexible ligaments and blood vessels, blood cells, hemoglobin and squishy soft tissue in dinosaur fossils that were supposed to be 68 and 80 million years old.  This was first published this in 1993.1 Then later in 1997,2 and more in 2005.3  In 1993 and 2005 it was in the prestigious journal Science.

How can such tissue survive 80 million years? It can’t. Those dinosaur bones are no more than 4500 years old, probably from dinosaurs killed in Noah’s flood.  But can she or any of her secular colleagues see that they are blinded by their evolutionary worldview?

This evidence, when properly interpreted, makes much more sense in a biblical creationist worldview. The world is only about 6000 years old and dinosaurs were created by God on the sixth day of Creation, the same day God made man. Hence these fossils cannot possibly be tens of millions of years old.

Put on biblical glasses and look at the very same evidence through the lens of God’s Word. It makes much more sense.

The singularity—a ‘Dark’ beginning

Did the universe form spontaneously from nothing?

“The universe burst into something from absolutely nothing – zero, nada. And as it got bigger, it became filled with even more stuff that came from absolutely nowhere. How is that possible? Ask Alan Guth. His theory of inflation helps explain everything.”—front cover of the April 2002 issue of Discover magazine

First years
Figure 1: The first several hundred million years after the big bang is when the universe was in its Dark Ages. No ionized hydrogen meant that no sources of light were available during that period. Larger image available from http://www.astro.caltech.edu/~george/reion/.

“Spontaneous creation of the universe from nothing”is the title of a 2014 paper authored by He, Gao and Cai, published in the American Physical Society journal Physical Review D, one of America’s most prestigious journals dealing with physical theory. It purports to outline a so-called mathematical proof that the universe did indeed burst into something from nothing.

The Nephilim problem?

The word ‘Nephilim’ is found in the Old Testament Bible and some have suggested that their existence before the global Flood in Noah’s day was the reason God sent it to destroy all air-breathing life (nephesh chayyah) on the surface of the Earth. Certainly there is both biblical and archaeological evidence that giants, giant-sized people, have existed, but was there really ever a Nephilim problem? Could it be that that was at least part of the reason God sent the Flood?

Nephilim-1There is much written about this controversial subject, for example, in books,and on the web2-5 as well as online video discussions and documentaries6 and articles proposing that certain elongated ancient skulls are from the Nephilim.7  Some articles refer to a Nephilim problem and that “part of the reason for God sending the Flood was to stop the Nephilim problem”.5 But was there really a Nephilim problem at all?

The word Nephilim is derived from the Hebrew word נְפִיל/נְפִל nphiyl (nef-eel’), which appears in Genesis 6:4;

There were giants [nphiylim] in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. KJB (= King James Bible)

Various versions translate this as ‘giants,’ or not at all, leaving the untranslated Hebrew word, where the ending ‘im’ indicates it is plural;

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.  ESV (=English Standard Version)  ESV endnote #: giants.
