When Government Rewards Evil and Punishes Good

This is an excellent biblical presentation on the view we should hold about government; when we should obey and when we should resist tyranny.

Governments have always been the source of persecution of the church / the believers in Jesus Christ. The reason for this is that Satan/Lucifer always operates through the leaders of governments. Satan hates believers in Christ and works to destroy the true church.

Psychopaths crave power and domination to the point of self destruction so it makes perfect sense that such people would seek government positions. Good people are happy with what they have.

See also Doug Wilson interview where he describes lockdown etc as a beta test for authoritarian government. I think it’s ten minutes video on what we learned from the response to c19.
When we look at the way in which governments shut down churches and forced hymn singers to wear masks we have to regard it as satanic. Satan in scripture is always challenging the authority of God’s word and reliance on God (Genesis 3 + Matthew 4 and Job 1-3.)
