The worldwide protests going on this weekend are about more than just some truckers upset about vaccines and vaccine mandates.
The world is on fire. People are rising up to make a stand against tyranny. This is good rising up and confronting evil. People are waking up and sensing the urgency of the hour. When you truly wake up, you don’t shy away from the fight.
This article reminded me of the fact that until we are saved and regenerated we are dead, dead men walking. Only in Christ are we made alive. And thus we avoid the second death even if our flesh dies we live eternally. Jesus said to the guy in Luke 9:59-60: “Let the dead bury the dead” when they weren’t dead at the moment He spoke to the man who wanted time to wait until his parents had died before following Jesus.
Life. It is one of the most common words in the English language. It is something to “live,” something to “spend,” something that begins and ends, something that is evaluated as “good” or “bad,” as “healthy” or “unhealthy.”
But how do we actually define it? Is it defined by our culture, or does it have an intrinsic meaning that transcends how the culture uses the word?
Atheist religion led to Nazism and atheist religion led to Communism; both are the same thing, like opposite sides of the same coin. And regardless of what you call it or like to call it, Socialism is the mechanism to world Communism.
It will be a repressive society where nations will freely give up their own national sovereignty. Giving up all your freedoms to ‘the government’ in the name of security creates totalitarian government. But is living under the brutal global reign of Communism better than nuclear annihilation?
