Jesus never gives up on us

Job 13:15 Yet will I trust in Him.

One day in 1976 my wife, Christina, and I travelled to Albany on the southern coast of Western Australia. We were just married and went on a faith trip together. At that time, we lived by faith to serve the Lord and witness His message of the gospel to the world. We went to that town because Christina had had a dream about a big whale and felt God was calling us to that town, which was once a big whaling port.

Albany001AOn arriving in the town, we went to the main street where the people shopped and we passed tracts and witnessed to anyone we could about the Lord.

Overcoming demons through Jesus’ Name

Kyle’s testimony of his salvation and overcoming fear from demons at night through the power of Jesus’ Name.

Kyle PellerinI was born and raised in a Christian family, as a young child the idea of heaven and the life after death was a great fantasy I wished would be fulfilled. Although my parents were never forceful of attending Church nor reading the Bible, I fully was convinced that Jesus and God was real. Although later in life, this idea was only reassured as the only possibility. In my life I’ve experience a lot of spiritual warfare but it’s only brought myself closer to Jesus.

Ever since I’ve been young, I’ve been able to sense if something is with me or close to me in the current room. It’s difficult to describe, although this feeling is associated with fear and that someone is watching you. When I was young, this feeling scared me. I would only get it when I was alone and when I didn’t feel safe. Now, I’ve come to realise this feeling was me sensing the presence of a demon.

What are you willing to do to witness for Christ?

Jesus Christ said unto his disciples (you who believe),

Mark 16:15 Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

What means or methods should we use? Use your talents as the Lord has given you. I know back in 1976 (in Perth, Western Australia) we were willing to do crazy stuff like dress up and do skits to both attract people to hear the message as well as illustrate it.

From an evolution-believing atheist to a born-again Christian—my testimony Part I

In 1952, I was born in Manjimup, a small country town in the South West of Western Australia, but as my parents divorced early in my life I went to several different schools, finally completing high school in Perth. In my teen years I thought I was an atheist. But I soon found out that God had my number and He was after me. I studied mathematics, chemistry, physics, and cosmology.

I was not brought up in a “Christian” family and received a very secular education, but did attend Sunday school, and, back then Scripture classes were taught in the public schools. We even prayed the Lord’s Prayer every morning at school assembly. How times have changed.

One interesting thing I do remember though from very young.  When I was about 8 or 9 years old I heard my father ask my mother the question, “Who was Cain’s wife?” In the book of Genesis one of the sons of Adam and Eve, Cain, killed his brother Abel, and we don’t read much about his life after that except the scripture tells us Cain took a wife, and had children. Well, who was she? This question not having a logical answer, to my father, meant that the Bible must be wrong. See the importance of good foundational biblical teaching, early in the lives of our children?
