The sun has gone blank!

Figure 1: The more usual picture of the sun with flares, and other turbulent activity. Lower right is a mid-level solar flare imaged on Nov. 12, 2012.

As predicted, by John L. Casey and several others, including my analysis,1 we are entering a period of massively reduced sunspot activity. This may have significant ramifications for weather on this planet. Reduce sunspots means reduced solar activity and hence reduced solar flares and other associated solar activity. A new article, headlined with “The sun has gone blank twice this month. This is what it means”, reports2 that we are now seeing the sun some days with no sunspots and none of the grainy turbulence features as shown in Fig. 1.

The news report2

According to scientists, this unsettling phenomenon is a sign we are heading for a mini ice age.

Meteorologist and renowned sun-watcher Paul Dorian raised the alarm in his latest report, which has sparked a mild panic about an impending Game of Thrones-style winter not seen since the 17th century.

For the second time this month, the sun has gone completely blank,” Mr Dorian says.

The blank sun is a sign that the next solar minimum is approaching and there will be an increasing number of spotless days over the next few years.

At first, the blankness will stretch for just a few days at a time, then it’ll continue for weeks at a time, and finally it should last for months at a time when the sunspot cycle reaches its nadir. The next solar minimum phase is expected to take place around 2019 or 2020.”

— no global warming at the South Pole for the past 37 years

SPoleFor the whole of the satellite record, the South Polar region has had a negative trend.  So much for a fingerprint of warming due to the enhanced greenhouse effect being greater warming at the Poles!‘ from Climate Depot.

The University of Alabama Huntsville satellite data (UAH v6.0 released in November 2015) shows no global warming at the South Pole for a 37 year period.

Global cooling alarmists 40 years ago

Ice-AgeHow is it that the “science is settled”? In regards to the Earth’s temperature, some headlines in the 1970s painted the opposite picture of what they do today. Regardless of the background science, that was actually done, the media pronouncements warned of global cooling back 40 years ago. Continue reading

Big scientific lies that have been told

Adolf Hitler wrote in his book Mein Kampf:

Die breite Masse eines Volkes … einer großen Lüge leichter zum Opfer fällt als einer kleinen.

which translated means “The broad mass of a people … will more easily fall victim to a big lie than to a small one.”

Reading this I was contemplating how in our global society now what potential exists to propagate big lies for some endgame, whatever that may be. Hitler had his propaganda ministry, and used it to manipulate the masses. His big lie was that the white Germanic Aryan race was the master race and by selective breeding, and eliminating the weak, he would assist evolution along to ultimately produce ‘superhumans.’

There was a German expression, which translated as “life not worthy of life.” So like you might get rid of unwanted cats his regime ‘put down’ at least 250,000 white Aryan Germans because they had some mental or physical disability. Not to mention the 6 million Jews, and about as many Gypsies, Poles, and others deemed unfit. Hitler was just applying Darwinian principles. He was a follower of the bogus science of goo-to-you evolution as well as other pseudosciences, the occult and eastern mysticism.

Pagan religion of evolutionism

Hitler hated true Christianity but fell for the pagan religion of evolutionism. But it was all one big lie. Evolution is still one big lie and it is still taught in schools and universities as if it is a fact. But the very principle that it relies on has no physical laboratory evidence. I am not saying that there is no circumstantial evidence for it—there is, the fossils in rock layers. But I am saying the very principle of the addition of ‘zillions’ of bits of new information to all plant and animal genomes as they become more fit within their existing habitats on Earth today. If evolution is so ubiquitous then the evidence—laboratory evidence—for new structures, novel features, in plant and animal genomes should abound. Continue reading

Global cooling coming

You think this southern hemisphere winter is cold, according to Professor Valentina Zharkova,1 reported on Channel 9 News here in Australia, solar activity, such as sunspots, will drop up to 60 percent by 2030 and plunge the planet into a mini Ice Age.2,3 She makes the connection in her research between solar irradiance and the earth’s weather and sunspots are an indication of the cyclic activity of the sun.

In only 15 years time we should be in the middle of a mini-Ice Age. After this weekend in Adelaide, South Australia–located on the edge of the Antarctic Ocean–I am inclined to believe such a report. It has been cold!

This is the same prediction that John L. Casey made in his bookDark Winter, How the Sun Is Causing a 30-Year Cold Spell” where he predicted a period of extreme cold by the year 2030. In fact, he predicts it will last 30 years, a period similar to the “Dalton Minimum” around 1810 or even worse, the “Maunder minimum”, which lasted from 1645 to 1715. Continue reading
