My answer to this question will tell you why I am not a political Zionist.
Many bible colleges, churches and denominations teach that political Israel today is God’s chosen nation. They teach that the Jews are God’s people, and that the country of Israel as constituted since 1948 is the prophesied return of the Jews to their homeland. They often cite biblical passages such as:
6 For you [Israel] are a holy people to the LORD [Yahweh] your God: the LORD your God has chosen you to be a special people [special treasure] to Himself, above [out of] all people that are upon the face of the earth.
Deuteronomy 7:6
They equate these special people to the current political nation of Israel. But quite clearly God is speaking of the people not the political nation in the text above. Another text used is the following.
35 Thus says the LORD [Yahweh], which gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divides the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is His name: 36 If those ordinances depart from before me, say the LORD, then the seed [offspring] of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before Me for ever.
Jeremiah 31:35-36
That seems pretty permanent. Only if the sun, moon and stars stop shining will the offspring of Jacob (Israel) cease to be a nation. The prophecy from the Lord, quoted in Jeremiah 31:31-37, describes God’s love for the people of Israel and His covenant with them. God speaks of His law that He puts within them, in their hearts, and that He will be their God.
You might ask the question: Is this promise conditional on anything the offspring of Israel does? Does rejection of their own Messiah, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, constitute a rejection of God? A rejection of God then means Jesus is not their God and He is not in their hearts. Who then is their god?
We know that Jesus was very scathing of them when He spoke to the religious leaders who knew the law.
19 Then said they to Him, Where is your Father? Jesus answered, You neither know me, nor My Father: if you had known me, you should have known My Father also. …. 42 Jesus said to them, If God were your Father, you would love Me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of Myself, but He sent me. 43 Why do you not understand My speech? even because you cannot hear My word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
John 8:36, 42-44
And don’t forget when the Jews crucified their Messiah all the offspring of Israel present at that time called for all the responsibility of Christ’s death to be upon them and on their children.
25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.
Matthew 27:25
The expression there means “We take responsibility for his death—we and our children!” And the nation as a whole rejected Christ. Of course not all individual Jews did. The first disciples were Jews (Romans 1:16) and they went into all the world after the Romans, in 70 AD, came into Jerusalem, destroyed the city and the temple and killed millions of Jews. Those that survived were scattered into the known world. That was the end of the political nation of Israel until 1948 when under a UN mandate modern Israel was founded. Is this God’s kingdom on Earth? Or will it ever be?
42 Jesus says to them, Did you never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? 43 Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation [a people] bearing the fruits thereof. 44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
Matthew 21:42-44
Because of the rejection of their Messiah God chose another group of people (non-Jews) who would fall on Christ, humble themselves to let Him break their hearts and hence forth live in their hearts. To this day except for a small remnant of the offspring of Israel (messianic Jews) the majority of Jews and Israelis are either atheists or they are follow the religion of Judaism and the teachings of the Talmud, which reject Jesus Christ as Saviour.
11 And I say to you, that many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven. 12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 8:11-12
This means non-Jews, Gentiles, will inherit the kingdom of God through faith in Jesus Christ, and the children of Israel, in the flesh, shall be cast out because they rejected their Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ.
29 And if you be Christ’s, then are you Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Galatians 3:29
God has no earthly kingdom! There can be no claim that nation of Israel today is instituted by God. It wasn’t. It was instituted by Lord Rothschild who was definitely one of the synagogue of Satan.
36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if My kingdom were of this world, then would My servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from here [hence].
John 18:36
Judas Iscariot was a Zealot and was expecting Jesus to be a political leader who would defeat the Romans and establish a kingdom of God on Earth. Judas betrayed Christ because of the worldly state of his heart. He was deceived and misguided by his satanic thoughts. He completely missed what Jesus was teaching.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.
John 4:24
Christ’s kingdom is in the heart of men and women who love and trust in Jesus Christ our Lord and God. It is not established on Earth, not yet, not until the New Heaven and the New Earth.
34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35 But in every nation he that fears [reveres] Him [God], and works [does] righteousness, is accepted with Him.
Acts 10:34-35
26 For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you be Christ’s, then are you Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Galatians 3:26-29
There is no kingdom of God on Earth in the land of Israel, or anywhere else. Israel is an apostate antiGod nation, like most Western countries. It is one of the most atheistic of all nations today. The kingdom of God is in our hearts. Nowhere else.
The oral traditions and teachings taught by leading Rabbis for thousands of years were codified (written down) from about the second century AD. Those oral traditions were condemned by Jesus Christ:
6b Thus have you made the commandment of God of none [no] effect by your tradition… 9 But in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Matthew 15:6b, 9
Those traditions are the basis of the current modern religion of Judaism, which relies exclusively on the teachings of the past rabbis to interpret the Torah (Jewish Bible). The irony there is that the religious Jews reject the teaching of one of their past rabbis, the only Rabbi that really counts, being the Creator God (John 1:1-3, 14) born into human flesh as the man Jesus of Nazareth.
One fine point I must make is that the current demonic cabal (a word derived from Cabala), with their global depopulation agenda, is quite distinct from the Jewish people, who have been manipulated by the cabal and used as pawns. The cabal is the same group that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 15:1-9, Mark 7:1-13 and John chapter 8, especially John 8:42-44 as mentioned above.
It is an enormous mistake, another delusion, that has poisoned the churches, to associate political Zionism with Christianity. It is a devilish doctrine that links the physical country of modern Israel, dominated and run by evil deep state rulers, atheists, homosexuals, perverts, child molesters, child maiming, child sex trafficking, transgender promoters to some fulfilment of biblical prophecy. (Don’t get me wrong, most western countries fall into the exact same category. I am only singling out Israel in this as it is the point here.)
I hope and pray for the salvation of the Jewish people. After all the early believers were all Jewish as was Jesus of Nazareth in His earthly incarnation. So before you accuse me of antisemitism please carefully consider the matter. Proverbs 18:13.
Let me finish with what the Apostle Paul wrote to the believers.
11 … there is neither Greek [non-Jew, Gentile] nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free, but Christ is all and in all. 12 Put on therefore, as the elect [chosen] of God, holy and beloved, [compassion], kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering, 13 forbearing one another and forgiving one another if any man have a quarrel against another: even as Christ forgave you, so also do you 14 And above all these things put on charity [love], which is the bond of perfectness.
Colossians 3:11-14

I hope and pray that many more Jews and Israelites will look to their Messiah as written in these OT verses from their own Bible. This exactly what the Lord spoke of in Matthew 21:43-44
