All life in the universe is Carbon based. The Transhumanist Climate Cult wants to change that by firstly eliminating Carbon through Carbon Capture Sequestration and ultimately switching off all carbon dioxide emitters, that is, all life on Earth. Secondly by creating their utopian world where they extend their own lives forever by uploading their minds into Silicon-based storage chips, and replacing humans with a world of machines, which they control. Is that possible?
Carbon is a non metallic substance upon which all life in the universe is based. The element most similar to it, Silicon, is found in the same period of the Periodic Table. But Silicon is a metalloid, a semiconductor with metallic properties, yet has some electrical properties similar to Carbon. Because of that some science fiction writers have dreamed about Silicon-based life. They can only dream because it is not found anywhere in the universe.
Carbon reacts with atmospheric Oxygen providing fuel (energy) for life, all life except some rare creatures near deep oceans vents, which use Sulfur instead of Oxygen. Sulfur sits just below Oxygen in the Periodic Table.
Carbon dioxide is a byproduct of the oxidation process, releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The fuel for life comes from the photosynthesis chemical reaction chain, which in sunlight constantly recycles carbon dioxide and water vapour into oxygen and food (sugars) for plants, animals and mankind. Without Carbon there is no life and without carbon dioxide there is no food. This is all by design of the One who created life.
Silicon is found in the earth’s crust bound with oxygen in the form of silica rocks. Silica or silicon dioxide is the analogue of carbon dioxide. The latter is a gas at standard temperature and pressure but the former is a solid. This fact makes it easy to see that no such carbon analogue could exist in the form of a silicon based lifeform. Certainly there can be no equivalent to photosynthesis.
Thus we can conclude that Carbon-based life is unique. We are some of that life, created in the image of God, even though God used the elements from the earth to make the structural form of our body. Silica is an important component and is found in our bones along with Calcium but Carbon forms the basis for all organic molecules upon which life depends.
The Transhumanist Climate Cult oligarchs want to eliminate Carbon and we are that Carbon. And they want to replace Carbon with Silicon. How is that? You may well ask.
The ultimate goal of the transhuman agenda being pushed by the oligarchs is to cheat death by building a man-made ‘brain’ that they can transfer their consciousness to and live forever, by repeating the process as long as possible. The insanity of it seems to be that they really believe that it is eventually possible.
The first step in that process is to augment Carbon-based lifeforms with a brain-chip implant, based on the Silicon chip. Some steps later is to eventually build an artificial brain with massive storage capacity and ultra-fast processor, of course Silicon based.
With the increasing adoption of quantum computing, massive storage capacities are being designed to accommodate the enormous data requirements. Quantum computing storage solutions are expected to offer capacities in the exabyte range (1 exabyte = 1 billion gigabytes).
As a comparison, one estimate suggests the human brain’s storage capacity is equivalent to 2.5 petabytes but a precise numerical value for its storage capacity is extremely problematic due to its highly complex and dynamic nature (1 petabyte = 1 million gigabytes).
… neurons combine so that each one helps with many memories at a time, exponentially increasing the brain’s memory storage capacity to something closer to around 2.5 petabytes (or a million gigabytes). For comparison, if your brain worked like a digital video recorder in a television, 2.5 petabytes would be enough to hold three million hours of TV shows. You would have to leave the TV running continuously for more than 300 years to use up all that storage.
Though the human Carbon-based brain and the synthetic Silicon-based ‘brain’ are not exactly the same thing, the processing speed of the Silicon-based ‘brain’ far exceeds human brains by some measures (see below).
Quantum computers are the future of artificial intelligence (AI) which are really only super-fast Silicon-based processors with lightning fast access to enormous databases. But they are not sentient, they are not life. Read Are We Headed for a Demon-Possessed Robot Dystopian Future?
The human brain may also use a quantum computational algorithm. This is a contentious area of ongoing research and much debate. However,
Quantum brain processes could explain why we can still outperform supercomputers when it comes to unforeseen circumstances, decision making, or learning something new, while the discovery may also shed light on consciousness, the workings of which remain scientifically difficult to understand and explain.
This seems to be the dividing line between Silicon-based non-sentient ‘unlife’ and Carbon-based sentient life.
Recently the hope of an AI utopia has started to fade. AI computers make many mistakes and even lie in their answers to questions. The reason is that they are not sentient. They are very sophisticated machines shuttling electrical energy through junctions on Silicon substrates.
Though a cockroach doesn’t have the memory of a supercomputer its decision making in unforeseen circumstances is far better.
Now let’s get back to the utopian dream of transferring consciousness.
Is life only computational processing speed? A good question.
The insane oligarchs seem to think it is only electrical impulses surging through Carbon-based neurons. So why not transfer those impulses to Silicon-based neural junctions? Why not?
It won’t work because it is a category problem.
It is like starting with the wrong worldview. Everything you see is coloured by that false worldview.
The hardware may be either Carbon-based or Silicon-based but life is not the hardware. The proof is that a nanosecond after someone dies, the hardware is essentially unchanged. But they are no longer living.
The Frankenstein fallacy is obvious here. The fictional Dr Frankenstein thought if he assembled the hardware all that was needed for the thing to be alive was adding energy. That can work in resuscitating someone but not always. It means they were not actually dead even though their heart had stopped beating.
Aside from the miraculous, which I believe in, there is a short window, wherein neuron decay has not yet occurred and someone can possibly be resuscitated, and often times with brain damage, due to lack of oxygen. Viable hardware is needed to support life but that still does not tell us what life is. To get the answer to that question read What is Life?
Biblically the soul is the real person. The soul is the living essence of oneself. In salvation in Christ this is often referred to a ‘new heart’ and a ‘new spirit’. With Christ we are no longer the walking dead but born again as a living spirit.
The Lord God Jehovah, who is the preincarnate Jesus Christ, spoke through the Prophet Ezekiel saying:
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Ezekiel 36:25
Metaphorically Christ changes our heart from stone to flesh, from Silicon-based life to Carbon-based life. This occurs concomitant with being giving a new spirit and that part is not metaphorical.
So why would you want a heart of stone? And the word ‘heart’ here means the mind and spirit. Why would you want your consciousness placed into a stony receptacle? That is, into a Silicon-based storage chip and processor?
I know I wouldn’t. But that is exactly what the Satanic Transhumanist Climate Cult oligarchs are planning for their utopian world in order to beat death. But like all those who endeavoured to build their own Tower of Babel they will also fail.
From this we know it is a fool’s endeavour. Everything Satan inspires is destructive in the end.
