The power of the nucleus is truly awesome! It can be used for good or evil. But as long as evil exists in the hearts of men there will be those who are insane enough to use nuclear weapons.
On October 31, 1961 the Soviet Union exploded Tsar Bomba, the biggest thermonuclear bomb ever tested. It is called thermonuclear because it was a fusion type bomb with a fission bomb as a trigger. That bomb had a yield of 50 megatons of TNT equivalent. It was denotated autonomously 4,000 metres (13,000 ft) above the cape Sukhoy Nos of Severny Island, Novaya Zemlya, in Russian territory north of the Arctic circle.
Compare that blast to the first ever used nuclear bomb, dubbed ‘Little Boy’. The United States used it against a human population over the city of Hiroshima, Japan on August 6, 1945. That was a uranium-235 fission type bomb with a yield of about 16 kilotons of TNT. In 1970 a Japanese led estimate put 140,000 lives lost due to the blast in Hiroshima, which had a population of around 340,000 at the time. The Soviet thermonuclear Tsar Bomba blast released 3,000 times the energy of the Hiroshima bomb. Just consider that.
Recent developments with the ongoing war of NATO nations against Russia using their proxy Ukraine spilling over into Russian territory do not bode well for this world at war.
With this escalation World war III is starting to look like it is about to go nuclear.
Moscow is “refining” its nuclear doctrine in the face of Western policies, which appear to be intentionally geared towards escalation, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.
US officials are “like small children playing with matches. The handling of nuclear weapons is a dangerous thing for the grownups,” he added.
“We have our nuclear doctrine, which is being refined at the moment, by the way, and which the Americans are well aware of,” he said.
Russia’s nuclear doctrine allows the deployment of the weapons in retaliation for a first strike by the enemy or when the existence of the Russian nation state is at risk. The government has indicated in recent months that the key document may be altered in the face of what it perceives as an existential threat posed to Russia by NATO.
Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov warned that the US mainland is not off limits if the Russian territory faces an existential threat. At the same time US and UK politicians seem to be itching to start a thermonuclear war with Russia, and blame it on the Russians. But there are no winners in a thermonuclear war.
And then there is the reported China focussed nuclear strategy from the US. updated in March.
US President Joe Biden has approved a highly classified nuclear strategy aimed at deterring Russia, China, and North Korea, the New York Times reported on Tuesday, citing unnamed officials at the Pentagon and the National Security Council.
The document – ‘Nuclear Employment Guidance’ – was adopted in March, marking the first time the US nuclear doctrine has been focused on Beijing’s rapidly developing nuclear capabilities, the newspaper said.
According to the NYT, the document is updated roughly every four years and is so secretive that there are no digitized copies.
Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space Policy Vipin Narang told reporters earlier this month that Biden “recently issued updated nuclear weapons employment guidance to account for multiple nuclear-armed adversaries.” China’s growing nuclear arsenal was something the US “neither anticipated nor accounted for” during nuclear planning decades ago, he added.
Now there are 9 nuclear armed nations — US, UK, France, Pakistan, India, Israel, North Korea, Russia and China. And some say Iran is very close to completing its own nuclear bomb.
Most of these nations are are currently run by deranged psychopathic lunatics. I think this is especially true with the leaders of the Western nations and Israel. What is wrong with these people?
No one wins a thermonuclear war!
Thankfully Eastern national leaders seem to have cooler heads.
Based on internet search results, I respectively list the number of nuclear warheads possessed by Russia, the United States, and China as of 2024. This is the number of warheads only and does not include their yields.
Russia: 5,580 nuclear weapons, but another estimate has 4,380 in military stockpile, with 2,670 reserve/nondeployed warheads.
United States: 5,428 nuclear weapons, but another estimate has 1,419 deployed strategic warheads.
China: approximately 500 warheads. China is modernizing and expanding its nuclear arsenal, with some projections suggesting it will deploy at least as many intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) as Russia or the US in the coming decade.
Currently the US and Russia have at least 5 thousand nuclear warheads each. The idea that you could have a limited strategic nuclear exchange and then both sides holt any escalation is ludicrous. That just would never happen. No wonder it is called MAD = Mutually Assured Destruction.
Even though China has many less warheads than either Russia or the US they have a sufficiency of 500. I mean how many do you need to destroy the entire planet and sink it into a nuclear winter?
The United Sates, the only country to ever use a nuclear bomb on another country, has a pre-emptive strike policy. Russia has a non first strike policy as does China. So who is likely to be the aggressor nation in any nuclear war? And why are US lawmakers trying to normalise any discussion of nuclear war?
Defending the US decision to drop an atomic bomb on Japan, [Senator Lindsey] Graham said “I thought it was okay” when the US dropped the nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki to end “their existential threat war.”
“To Israel, do whatever you have to do to survive as a Jewish state. Whatever you have to do.”
Israel has their Samson Option, which is Israel’s deterrence strategy of massive retaliation with nuclear weapons as a last resort against any country whose military has invaded them. By 2002, it was estimated that Israel possessed between 75 and 200 thermonuclear weapons, each in the multiple-megaton range. What is to stop them from using them against their perceived regional enemies like Iran? That also could lead to global nuclear war.
The following discussion about NATO expanding into the Pacific and nuclear war between US-NATO nations and China, Russia and North Korea is worth listening to.
The very notion of using a nuclear weapon in warfare quickly leads to mutually assured destruction on all sides.
No one wins a thermonuclear war!
Global nuclear war between even just the United States and Russia would mean total annihilation of the northern hemisphere. The global population would rapidly decrease.
I have written about the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse which bring rapid global depopulation through toxic bioweapons called vaccines (white horse), war (red horse), financial collapse leading to famine (black horse) and on the last, pale green, horse the rider is called Death, and Hell followed him.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale [green] horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given to them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Revelation 6:8
Nuclear war brings all of these effects. Death by direct blast, by radiation poisoning, by disease and famine. Even the beasts of the earth come out to eat the flesh of the remaining carcases.
Nuclear winter can set in for decades, where sunlight is blocked and global cooling occurs. The Climate Cult would get what they crave — rapid decarbonisation of the planet. No sunlight means no photosynthesis and no life.
In the above stated verse from chapter 6 of the book of Revelation the indication is that one quarter of the human population succumbs to these events, that is, about 2 billion are killed. But that could even be from the combination of conventional war, disease, famine and bioweapon shots, like COVID-19 and Mpox injections.
However in chapters 8 and 9 of the book of Revelation we read of other catastrophic events like great mountains burning and being cast into the sea, a third of all life in the seas dying, waters poisoned etc. A third of the sunlight is blotted out, which could happen in a nuclear winter. Satan is released to do his worst and people are tormented by plagues and indescribable afflictions.
In these chapters the indication is that one third of all life dies from two rounds of successive judgments of God. If that is correct and coupled with the deaths from chapter 6 only 2.7 billion humans would remain. But that is at the end of the age and final judgment on mankind.
Certainly global thermonuclear war would fit the bill. It is the most satanic of all evils. Global thermonuclear war and all the accompanying effects (destruction, poisoning, disease, famine, etc) are the most extreme terror you could imagine. Satan is pure evil, and it seems he and his demons have possessed the insane warmongering world rulers and lawmakers. But know this, God uses Satan as His agent to accomplish His will.
I pray none of this happens but it is hard to understand how these chapters mentioned in the book of Revelation could mean anything else. So please get right with God. Seek His Son and our Saviour Jesus Christ. He is the only solution to these coming events.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said on Tuesday that the US would face “much harsher” consequences for backing Ukraine’s offensive in Russia’s Kursk Oblast.
