In New York City in front of the UN headquarters building you can find this new stature. It is described as a composite of a jaguar and an eagle. But it sure resembles the beast described in Revelation 13:2.
And the beast which I saw was like to a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

A jaguar is a black leopard. The stature’s feet are a different colour to the rest of the body and look like those of a bear. The mouth could easily be that of a lion.
If we read Daniel 7:4-7 we see three beasts described, a lion, a leopard and a bear. The leopard has 4 wings of a fowl but the lion has eagles wings. This UN stature is described as having eagles wings. But in Daniel 4 the lion represented the kingdom of Babylon, and it wings were plucked which relates to the humbling God gave king Nebuchadnezzar. This beast may in part spiritually represents those former kingdoms (Babylon, Medo-Persia and Greece) which form part of the fourth beast of Daniel 7, which was Rome, the terrible beast with “great iron teeth”. These (Revelation 13:2) then make up the final kingdom which we can call Rome or Babylon. This current global kingdom is all of them.
Thus it does resemble the beast of Revelation whose seat of power here is the UN itself.. Its power comes from the dragon Lucifer who has now revealed himself in all his true colours.
The image shown here also has many colours like those gemstones described covering Lucifer’s body.
You have been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, the sardius [ruby], topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of your [tamborines] and of your pipes was prepared in you in the day that you were created.

The image is called “The Guardian of International Peace and Security”. Yet it reminds me of what 1 Thessalonians 5:3 describes, which is set at a time just before the return of Christ, in what we call the day of the Lord.
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I write to you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail [birth pains] upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-4
It could be a message to believers that the time is getting very near to our Lord’s return. Satan is fully revealed now in all his demonic activity on Earth. There no longer seems to be any pretense of staying out of sight.
Because we are the children of light, we should be able to recognise the signs of the times. We may not know when exactly Christ will return but as a woman goes into labour she knows the baby is coming and likewise we should have some idea of the season of His coming.

I think it’s unlikely to be the UN because there are more differences than similarities. Your best bet is to download the mathematician Michael Penny’s extremely helpful booklet NEBUCHADNEZZAR’S DREAM off of Amazon as he provides convincing critiques of previous alleged historical fulfilments and gives his own based on the text of Ps 83 as well as Revelation. Excellent booklet.

I really don’t understand why a smart man like yourself is so concerned by what jesuits think! Is this not the genetic fallacy? Do you reject Einstein’s theories because he self-confessed belief in “spinoza’s God”? Or because he was an adulterer? Even IF futurist views were originated by jesuits (which I highly doubt) are not jesuits capable of getting somethings right? Luther was an anti-semite and Calvin had a man executed!

It is valid because the Jesuit program was explicitly to destroy the reformation and the protestant church. It is naive to believe you can accept anything on face value from an organisation sworn to murder true believers if necessary. Their purpose in this case was to divert the world’s attention away from the papacy as the antiChrist.

Technically leopards and jaguars are different species, but of the same genus Panthera. Panther is used to mean a jaguar or leopard that is black. These technicalities does not matter here though, considering Revelation says “like to a leopard” (there obviously can’t exist a koine greek word for jaguar since they are in the americas, and a jaguar is very “like to” a leopard).

Surely winged-animal hybrids are very commons in myth and legends eg Pegasus and winged lions. The above creature doesn’t have a distinctively lion-like jaw or feet like a bear or spots or seven heads or ten horns…etc. I mean the differences vastly outnumber the similarities. What we are waiting for is what happened circa 2014 in which a hyper violent, barbaric, and anti-christ state arose in Iraq-Syria and spread. Note the statue in Daniel: gold head is Babylon/Nebuchadnezzar (covered mesopotamia), the silver is medo-persia /Cyrus (covered mesopotamia) the bronze is Greece/Alexander (covered mesopotamia) and the iron inc the feet has not happened yet! Can’t be Rome because Rome didn’t conquer mesopotamia but was driven back by parthia.
