According to crazy climate cultist Al Gore greenhouse gases are “now trapping as much extra heat as would have be released by 600,000 Hiroshima-class atomic bombs exploding every single day”. He said “That’s what is boiling the oceans…”.
Well, last time I checked ocean water at standard atmospheric pressure (at sea level) boils at a temperature a little higher than 100 C. The salt content raises the boiling point slightly above 100 C, the boiling point for pure water. Also the last time I checked no weather report on Earth ever cited 100 C temperatures. So is Al Gore lying?
I suggest something else is going on. He has drunk his own Kool-Aid. He believes his own propaganda.
His propaganda is based on the idea that greenhouse gases are trapping heat in the atmosphere and catastrophically heating up the planet.
The climate cultists’ primary culprit in this is carbon dioxide and that carbon dioxide has increased in the atmosphere from human activity. I suggest that, in fact, carbon dioxide is not even a greenhouse gas and believing it and other gases, such as methane, are causing catastrophic global heating leading to the oceans boiling is the new phlogiston.
Phlogiston, in early chemical theory, hypothetical principle of fire, of which every combustible substance was in part composed. In this view, the phenomena of burning, now called oxidation, was caused by the liberation of phlogiston, with the dephlogisticated substance left as an ash or residue.
When a substance burned it was believed that phlogiston was released from the that substance.
When hydrogen, very light in weight and extremely flammable, was discovered, some thought it was pure phlogiston.
The phlogiston theory was discredited by Antoine Lavoisier between 1770 and 1790. He studied the gain or loss of weight when tin, lead, phosphorus, and sulfur underwent reactions of oxidation or reduction (deoxidation); and he showed that the newly discovered element oxygen was always involved. Although a number of chemists—notably Joseph Priestley, one of the discoverers of oxygen—tried to retain some form of the phlogiston theory, by 1800 practically every chemist recognized the correctness of Lavoisier’s oxygen theory.
The correct understanding of oxidation theory was the death-knell for phlogiston which was believed to be real science for a hundred years. Yet some of the old timers never accepted the new paradigm and went to their graves believing in phlogiston theory.
Phlogiston was pseudoscience! It could not stand up to scrutiny as experimental chemistry developed through the study of stoichiometry. Atomic elements were discovered, like oxygen, hydrogen etc and they had definite weights. Repeatable experiments meant that we could get a true understanding of the nature of how metals rusted and materials burned or oxidised.
I suggest we are back to this type of pseudoscience again with the new phlogiston. It is in this case that man-made carbon dioxide and other alleged greenhouse gases are causing the planet to heat up.
Al Gore:
“That’s what’s boiling the oceans… and creating the droughts, and melting the ice, and raising the sea level, and causing these waves of climate refugees, predicted to reach one billion in this century.”
And John Kerry:
“Every year now, millions of people around this planet are dying” because of “greenhouse gas pollution”, caused by the way we “choose to fuel our vehicles… heat our homes, light our factories, and so forth”.
This is the new phlogiston! The substance leaches into their brains causing a disturbing disease — global-warming-phobia.
Global-warming-phobia is a psychological condition where one irrationally believes that humans are a warming the Earth through release of carbon dioxide and other gases (cow farts etc).
Of course the disease is purely imagined. It does not actually exist in nature. It is however extremely contagious and seems to be transmitted very effectively via the mainstream media.
It is believed by the masses who follow the prognostications of the prophets like Al Gore and John Kerry.
What we need now is another Antoine Lavoisier to show the masses that the disease does not actually exist and more importantly that carbon dioxide is not even a greenhouse gas. Or at best its concentration in the atmosphere has no effect on temperature, does not boil the oceans, and does not raise sea-level.
But CO2 is an important atmospheric gas because it is plant food.
Currently the atmospheric CO2 level sits around 400 ppm. See in this picture how well the rice plants grow through the process of photosynthesis where they convert CO2, water and minerals in sunlight into sugars (food). In that process oxygen is released. See Decarbonise the Planet, Are They Mad?
The carbon cycle in photosynthesis is essential for all life on Earth. Reducing the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere is tantamount to global suicide. That is not really unexpected because of all those suffering from psychosis as a result of their belief in new phlogiston. They all seem to have developed suicidal tendencies.
Reject this mad new phlogiston theory as total pseudoscience quackery that it is! It is dangerous for your health! If you want to save the planet burn more carbon and feed the plants!

I well remember the last Soviet leader, Gorbachev, stating 20 years ago that the new mechanism for world change was no longer socialism, but “environmental activism”. Of course, we know this to simply be a different route to the same end of controlling and deceiving the world’s population.
