Here I am speaking on Examining Origins YT channel on the question of distant starlight in a created universe. How long did it take light from distant galaxies to reach Earth? Is distant starlight an insurmountable problem for the perspective of young Earth? I discuss this topic with Rebekah and suggest a solution to the issue of light-travel time to Earth in a universe less than 8,000 years old.

John, at 1:03:40 you start to speak a bit more about the “tension” of space, ZPE, and the high density of space, unlike what laypersons view space as being empty and so not having a “density”, let alone very high.

Would you please consider writing an article or a presentation of explaining what this ZPE is and how do physicists arrive at the conclusion that there IS a seriously high density? I think it will help us all if explained in reasonably moderate terms.

I’ll also post this request directly at your corresponding webpage.

    1. I’ll do my best to write a blog post on that very soon. Stay tuned.

    2. Physicists model the vacuum as a crystal like structure of a lattice of oscillators with ZPE, which means only quantum fluctuations of virtual particles. But they have a spectrum of energies so to calculate the energy density you must integrate over all energies and remember they are quantised.. A cut off frequency is assumed but whichever cut off limit is chosen the energy density is extremely high. About 10^60 to 10^120 times larger then the estimates of alleged cosmological constant.
