Every now and then someone brings up the age-old Hoyle hypothesis called panspermia. Again this is being resurrected by a “news” site. It should stay dead as it is just grasping at the air. No such seeding of Earth with alien life ever occurred.
Yet according to the Why Files:
There are extraterrestrials among us. They landed four billion years ago when Earth was just forming. And they weren’t humanoids with tall, slender bodies and dark, almond-shaped eyes. The aliens were microbes, and they were delivered here. And once these aliens awakened in our mineral-rich world, they multiplied quickly and evolved. If you want to see these aliens for yourself, it’s actually very easy. Just look in the mirror.
Their evidence is our existence. Of course the unstated assumption is that the biblical history of the creation of mankind in the first man Adam and his wife Eve must be a myth.
But the story in the above paragraph is reminiscent of the creators in the Alien film franchise. It is a similar theme of some master alien race shedding on Earth some of their own blood infected with alien microbes.
The idea of panspermia is promoted because the origin of life from a warm pond of chemicals is a complete dead end. Life cannot arise from the chemistry, because it is in the information that those molecules carry and not in the molecules themselves. And information does not spontaneously arise from nothing. So the evilutionists need to resort to life from elsewhere in the universe. Convenient because it is not refutable.
They say that life came here 4 billion years ago as microbes. But where did that life come from? Oh, that is easy, you say. It came from another alien source billions of years before. And on and on you go. No first cause, which makes it impossible.
It is of course impossible to scientifically test any claim on origins, and even more so 4 billions years ago. As such it is just a pagan religious statement. It is not science.
That same site also makes the following claim.
Could the Universe Be Alive and Conscious? Ponder the mind-bending concept of a sentient cosmos.
They compare the “evolving” large-scale structure of the galaxies in the universe, the cosmic web with filamentary structures, to the structure of neurons in the human brain. Then from that superficial similarity ask the question: is the universe alive and sentient?
This just more pagan religion. Pagan because they worship the creation over the Creator.
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things. 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate [debased] mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
