Charlie Kirk, a young Christian influencer of Turning Point USA, with 27 million followers aged between 18-35, who was most of the time an ardent Zionist but had recently started to question the genocide in Gaza, was assassinated on September 10, 2025. His death has spurred many on the right to blame the left and fuel division within America. This division is the work of Satan, not the work of Christ. Followers of Christ should have no part in such earthly carnal warfare.
On YouTube Erika Kirk speaks out against the evil of the events of September 10th. I agree with her. And though Charlie was seriously misguided on the issue of the Zionist agenda and the modern political state of Israel (which is why I never listened to him) he is with the Lord now. His widow says she will carry on his legacy.
Charlie was a true believer and preached a true gospel message but he also trusted in the earthly political system which we are warned against in the scriptures. I have no doubt that Charlie truly loved the Lord and was killed for what he stood for.
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

The warfare that we must engage in is spiritual and not carnal, not of the flesh. So partisan politics and carnal revenge is not the answer. For example Alex Jones has gone ballistic saying that the Democrats, the left are responsible.

But that is just falling for the trap set by the enemy. His methods, his devices are to divide and conquer. Christ taught us to love and forgive our enemies which is only possible with His grace and mercy. Otherwise in our fleshly mind Satan may get an advantage over us.
10 To whom you forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; 11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
2 Corinthians 2:10-11 AKJV
Do not be ignorant of Satan’s devices, means his methods and techniques he uses to incite violence among people. The people he uses are included in those devices.

Folks, if you follow Jesus Christ our Lord, do not look to earthly leaders or man in any way. Look only to Jesus Christ!
1 Why seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

There is no other way. No revenge, but forgiveness and love that we might win some to Christ!
Let judgment fall to the earthly authorities instituted by God for the civil society. They may be rulers of evil (Romans 13:3), but better some rulers than total anarchy. It is the civil ruler who is chosen of God as servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer (Romans 13:4).
