Haim Bresheeth-Zabner is a Jewish academic (emeritus), historian and author of “An Army Like No Other”. He calls the nation state of Israel “an engine of chaos”. Watch or listen his interview on the Electronic Intifada video (below). This may be very eye opening to you as it was to me.
From the information Prof. Bresheeth-Zabner shared several pieces of the jigsaw puzzle in my mind fell into place.
Firstly I list some key points in bullet form, not necessarily in the order presented.
- The Israeli society has now become very religious. During the early history of migration of Palestine European Jews were not so religious. Does that mean they are religious in terms of being followers of the Babylonian Talmud and not like the Haredim of New York, many of whom are anti-Zionist? I suggest their religion is a corrupted form of the original teaching as found in the books of Moses, the Torah.
- A 2024 survey of Israeli Jews found more than 90% support the genocide of the Palestinians. Prof. Bresheeth-Zabner calls it Israel’s “democratic genocide”.
- The genocide / ethnic cleansing of Palestinians is the only issue that a very fractured Israeli society agrees upon. If that issue was not there they would break apart the Israeli society.
- The Israeli army is now very religious with many rabbis in the army. They are even Messianic with a supremacist ideology.
- The Israeli army is sadistic like no other on Earth. The IDF soldiers invent games to shoot Palestinians, like one day shooting them in the eye and on another day in the leg.
- The Israeli army has been at war with Palestinians since 1948.
- Israel is an “engine of chaos” warring against many nations surrounding it.
The piece of the puzzle that fell into place is related to the answer to the following question. How could political Israel develop into a force that not only murders and subjugates Muslims and other Arab minorities but also Christians?
The answer is in what the nation of Israel has become. It is some sort of sect or cult that has as its goal not only the Greater Israel project but also the subjugation of all other states around it. That is where the army a major component in the “engine of chaos” comes in. They use the UK MI6, the US CIA, and Israeli Mossad to destabilize and break up all the nation states around them. Once destabilised like Iraq, Syria, Libya etc they can be kept down and weak.
Why would Christians in West Asia be treated any differently to Muslims? The religious Talmudic beliefs of the Zionists include the idea of Jesus is in hell boiling in his own excrement, also that His mother Mary was a prostitute. Such is the level of hatred for Jesus Christ. Conversely, even though Muslims do not believe Christ to be the Son of God, they treat Him with great reverence and respect as a prophet.
But most Western evangelicals have been duped into believing that the current political colonial Zionist state of Israel is part of God’s plan before Christ’s second coming. When in fact it is the last colony of the British Empire.
The Balfour Declaration (1917) gave Palestine to the Zionists as requested by Lord Rothschild even before the British had it as a mandatory territory, which they took possession of after the first world war, from the Ottoman Empire (Türkiye). The idea of a Jewish homeland in Palestine had been discussed earlier, with Lord Palmerston reportedly raising the concept in 1840, and the London Colonial Conference of 1907 discussing the strategic value of a British-aligned presence in the region near the Suez Canal.
Israel was to be a home for the Jewish people fleeing persecution in Europe, a place where they would be safe. But since the 1930’s with the Irgun, Lehi and other Jewish terrorist gangs, which later evolved into the IDF, Israel has been at constant war with the Palestinian Arabs and its Arab and Muslim neighbours. How does that create a safe space for Jews?
Anti-Zionist Jews have stated many times that it makes it more dangerous for Jews worldwide as they get subsumed by the Zionists, which they are not. Their name is used by the Zionists. But they state “not in our name”.
Messianic Zionist Jews like Amir Tsarfati claim to believe in Jesus Christ. But how can they be His followers when they do not follow His teachings? His teachings are those of love for all mankind regardless of ethnicity or race. God’s chosen people are those who love and follow Jesus Christ.
Tsarfati is an Israeli who once served in the IDF. He routinely challenges the idea that Israel can do anything wrong, accusing those who in any way question Israel’s actions of being “antisemitic.” According to him there is no genocide in Gaza even though estimates now range as high as 600,000 dead and 83% are civilians by the IDF’s own estimate.
“Israel is Israel! We are Jews and Zionism is the right of the Jews over their land! I’m a proud Jewish and Zionist Israeli!”
So Tsarfati wrote in his Telegram channel where he often praised the war against those who he calls terrorists.
On that Telegram channel you’ll find the repeated celebration of murder, and the justification of mass killing of civilians by labeling them all “terrorists.” These are not the words of a man of moral courage, Christ-like love for humanity or closeness to God. These are the words of hatred, vengeance and murder. Screen shots are provided here.
There are others who support Prof. Bresheeth-Zabner claims about the Israeli army. Joseph Massad, writer with Middle East Eye, wrote:

A new poll has suggested a majority of Israelis believe the prison officials accused of sexually assaulting a Palestinian detainee should not face criminal charges and just be disciplined by the army.
“What we can see is appalling acts of violence perpetrated on civilians, on civilian property,” Mark Smith, formerly the lead author of the central assessment governing the legality of UK arms sales in the Foreign Office’s Middle East and North Africa directorate, said in an interview with BBC Radio 4.
“It’s actually quite clear, even from what you can see in open source… that the state of Israel is perpetrating war crimes in plain sight,” he said.
