Extradimensional beings are often confused with extraterrestrial beings. The latter are allegedly lifeforms from other star systems within our physical universe. But the size of the local universe and therefore the impossibility of interstellar travel outside of the faster-than-light speeds of fictional Warp Drive severely limits the possibility of putative lifeforms from extra-solar planets travelling interstellar distances to Earth. The very notion of the existence of extraterrestrials from other star systems is predicated on a belief that life spontaneously arose on Earth — abiogenesis — and the same occurred on other planets in the distant past. You must couple that with the belief in the fictional concept of Darwinian evolution over billions of years on Earth. However in the case of the extraterrestrials they allegedly evolved over much longer time period, millions of years longer than for lifeforms on Earth. That is because the proponents believe extraterrestrials must be much more technologically advanced than humans to have solved the intractable, the insuperable obstacle of interstellar travel.
However unlike extraterrestrials, extradimensional beings are believed to exist in higher dimensional realms fundamentally different from the three spatial dimensions we inhabit. They are believed to operate under distinct physical principles different to the laws we know. Another label for them is interdimensional beings, which along with their means of transportation are often grouped under the label of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).
Recent developments indicate a growing scientific and governmental focus on UAP, with new research suggesting a statistical link between transient sky objects, nuclear testing, and UAP reports. A significant event occurred on October 21, 2025, when three Minneapolis police officers reported observing a spherical UAP with six glowing, colour-changing rings at an altitude of 10,000 feet, exhibiting hypersonic speeds and silent flight, with a close encounter reported near the Prairie Island Nuclear Power Plant. The interdimensional UFO hypothesis (IUH) is the proposal that unidentified flying object (UFO) sightings are the result of experiencing other “dimensions” or “portals” that coexist separately alongside our own.
The hypothesis has been advanced by ufologists such as Meade Layne, John Keel, J. Allen Hynek, and Jacques Vallée. Proponents of the interdimensional hypothesis argue that UFOs are a modern manifestation of a phenomenon that has occurred throughout recorded human history, which in prior ages were ascribed to mythological or supernatural creatures.
Jeffrey J. Kripal, Chair in Philosophy and Religious Thought at Rice University, writes: “this interdimensional reading, long a staple of Spiritualism through the famous ‘fourth dimension’, would have a very long life within ufology and is still very much with us today”.
Whether interdimensional or extradimensional the ideas are the same. Interdimensional implies crossing from one dimension to another. The dimension they originate from is not one of the three spatial dimensions we know. Therefore the concept implicitly involves some spiritual notions.
Similarly extradimensional beings are conceptualized as entities existing beyond the familiar three spatial and one time dimension of our physical reality. The term is often found in science fiction, spiritual, and metaphysical contexts to describe beings that inhabit realms or “dimensions” that transcend our understanding of space, time, and physical laws.
In some interpretations, these beings are not confined to a single universe or dimension but may exist in spaces between dimensions, such as voids or rifts, which are sometimes described as locations where such entities dwell. Hence interdimensional travel out of another realm.
They may not possess physical bodies as humans understand them, instead exist as energy, consciousness, or abstract forms that can interact with our reality in ways that defy conventional physics. For example, beings from higher dimensions, from one of greater dimensions than the 3 spatial dimensions of this universe, might appear to us as shifting, incomprehensible shapes, because only a partial “slice” of their existence would be perceivable within our three-dimensional space. This hypothetical concept is illustrated by the 1884 satirical novella Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions by theologian, Anglican priest and schoolmaster Edwin Abbott Abbott. The book, written pseudonymously by “A Square”, uses a two-dimensional world to satirise the class and gender hierarchies of Victorian society, but more relevant to this discussion, it explores the concept of higher dimensions. In a hypothetical 2D universe — that is flatland — where only the dimensions of width and breath exist, there is no dimension of height. Therefore any 3D being entering that universe would appear “miraculous” since only a 2D slice of the being would be visible to the 2D beings inhabiting the plane of flatland. The 3D being could move in the 3rd dimension and therefore may disappear and reappear in the 2D plane from the perspective of the 2D creatures living in the flatland universe.
The term “extradimensional” is sometimes used interchangeably with “extraterrestrial” in popular discourse, but it carries a broader implication, suggesting origins not just on distant planets but on other planes of existence, such as the astral plane or higher-dimensional realms, which we call the spirit world.
However, the concept of extradimensional beings is not grounded in any empirical science. Some theoretical physics perspectives, such as string theory, posit the existence of additional spatial dimensions, but these are not considered to host sentient beings. The extra dimensions in string theory are microscopic, coiled up so tightly that they do not manifest in the macroscopic three dimensional space we exist in. The direct experimental evidence we know does not allow for any other macroscopic “4th dimension”, that is an extra spatial dimension. See Earth | A Sphere By Design
The idea that such beings can “materialize” on Earth or interact with humans through altered states of consciousness is primarily found in fictional, spiritual, or paranormal narratives. Excluding the fictional stories what remains is the spiritual realm of demons, which biblical teachings expressly prohibit humans from exploring.
Deuteronomy 18:10-12 explicitly forbids consulting mediums or necromancers, stating,
10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD.

The Bible also warns that such practices are associated with demonic activity. What pagans sacrifice is offered to demons, not to God, and urges believers not to participate in such things. The Apostle Paul wrote,
20 No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice they offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.

The Bible teaches that demons are spiritual forces of evil that oppose God and His people, and engaging with them is a form of spiritual defilement and disobedience to God’s commands.
In modern-day parlance these same demonic entities are dressed up with new “scientific” terminology. The terminology of interdimensional or extradimensional beings is used to describe entities existing beyond our known physical reality, often associated with some sort of higher dimensions, non-physical forms, and spiritual or metaphysical realms.
Though they are a common theme in science fiction and spiritual teachings, most sceptics deny the existence of demons yet they are now more inclined to accept their existence if promoted as something scientific, i.e. as interdimensional beings.
Now we have Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (the Republican U.S. Representative for Florida’s 13th congressional district) suggesting that the observed interdimensional beings may be linked to information in some texts removed from the Bible, like the Book of Enoch, describing advanced technologies provided to humanity by non-human entities.
Interestingly she holds the position of Chairwoman of the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets. So does she know something we don’t? She said:
They don’t call them extraterrestrials but interdimensional … technologies given to mankind, of entities not of human origin, non-human intelligence.”
Based on the evidence I’ve seen there is something out there. I have to be careful, because I could get in trouble if I divulge what I’ve been shown in a SCIF. What I can tell you is … that they’re real.
SCIF stands for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility, a secure room or enclosed area designed to process, store, discuss, or electronically process highly classified information. The idea of using language like this adds to the mystique and promotes the idea that it is scientifically credible.
They like to dress this up as being something scientific and therefore very credible. That is, we should pay attention because interdimensional beings have come across from some other universe, which means they are extremely advanced scientifically and they can provide humans with advanced intelligence and hitherto unknown knowledge.
But the reality is the same as described in the Bible over thousands of years. Extradimensional beings are the same as interdimensional beings, which use new names for the demons of old.
These are modern day aliens dressed up in more scientific sounding language to make them more acceptable but they are still demons or devils. They are evil cosmic powers, evil spiritual forces in heavenly places, which means in the spiritual realms.
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
