More than 6 years ago Israeli history professor, atheist and high priest for the World Economic Forum (WEF), Yuval Noah Harari, was speaking at the WEF annual meeting where he made some controversial remarks:
“Control of data might enable human elites to do something even more radical than just build digital dictatorships.”
“By hacking organisms, elites may gain the power to re-engineer the future of life itself.”
“If indeed we succeed in hacking and engineering life, this will be not just the greatest revolution in the history of humanity, this will be the greatest revolution in biology.”
“Science is replacing evolution by natural selection with evolution by intelligent design—not the intelligent design of some god above the clouds, but our intelligent design, and the intelligent design of our clouds: the IBM cloud, the Microsoft cloud.”
“These are the new driving forces of evolution.”
This got me thinking on the issue of transhumanism and so-called “evolution by intelligent design”. By that he meant engineering the human genome to produce a better human that God created in the Garden of Eden some 6,000 or more years ago.
There are many assumptions, fallacies in his suggestions. The first and most glaring is the underlying belief that the putative mechanism of neo-Darwinian evolution — mutations and natural selection — is a real thing that produces new information.
The science has always shown that the premise is false. Information cannot arise by random chance processes.
Information in any living plant or animal is either conserved or degraded with every copying event. Natural selection is a real mechanism but it can only select from existing information, which tends to accumulate random errors – an increase in genetic entropy. These deleterious mutations accumulate and as a result the fitness of the organisms is always degraded. See COVID Bioweapon Shots: Deliberately Designed Destruction of the Human Genome.
To claim new information is added is not operational science, no matter how many times they say it is.
If it was real science it would mean new novel nouveau information is added to the genome of an organism. That is information which did not previously exist.
There has never been demonstrated a single example of where this has happened, apart from a few highly controversial examples, which do not pass close inspection.
Every genome of every organism is decaying. They are all losing information at an exponentially increasing rate. The information being lost is due to the accumulation of slightly deleterious mutations in the genomes. These mutations occur for various reasons but primarily copying errors of the DNA code as the cells are copied, which they all regularly are.
You are not the same person you were a decade ago. Most of your cells have been replaced with new cells. But that also means yours and every other organism’s genome is decaying continually.
Therefore, even if, and that is a very big IF, intelligent bio-engineers could create new code for some new novel feature in a human the rest of their genome is still decaying away.
It is like transforming an old internal combustion engine car into an electric car by swapping out the ICE engine for an electric motor, battery and drive train, while all the while the rest of the car is still rusting away. Is that a trans-automobile? If it is, it is still decaying away. The 2nd Law of Thermodynamics is impossible to get around!
Soon enough you’ll see the modern EVs pilling up on scrap heaps as they decay, wear out and die.
The same is true for the pseudo-transhumans. Every effort to transform humans to superhumans must fail. That is, not only will fail but must fail.
To believe otherwise is the height of arrogance and pride. That is the exact nature of Satan, which we see expressed in his conversation with Eve in the Garden.

Satan was lying in his question. He craftily twists God’s words to his own use. Not much has changed 6,000 plus years later.
And then there is the “law of unintended consequences”. Well, it isn’t a real law but it expresses the commonly observed phenomenon that often the opposite an unintended consequence occurs to some action because a system is way more complex than first believed. The nuclear DNA system with the cell’s molecular machinery coding for proteins is such a system.
It is not just 1 dimensional like a string of letters in a sentence but the double-stranded DNA molecule forms a helical structure, which is then folded in a specify way that causes the letters in the code (the base pairs) to associate with other parts of the DNA letters coding for something else. Some say the complexity is in fact 6-dimensional.
Harari’s claim of intelligent design by man is an affront to the Creator of the DNA code. It is a form of self-delusional.
To believe that life is only matter and energy and it only takes a particular arrangement of the DNA code to create a better human — a transhuman superman — is delusion and modern gnostic thinking. Gnostic science is “secret knowledge” that only some priests possess.
In reality the only way to transform a human into a superhuman is by the power of the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ.
