BOOK REVIEW: Plague

I just finished reading this book by Kent Heckenlively and Judy Mikovits. It is titled “Plague: One Scientist’s Intrepid Search for the Truth about Human Retroviruses and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/FCS), Autism, and Other Diseases.

This is the first book by Judy Mikovits and is more about the science of what she did and the cover up to “un-discover” what she found. Her second book, “Plague of Corruption“, is more about the corruption in the medical community and how that establishment (the medical industrial complex and government bodies) acted to silence her.

This first book also covers the reasons why she was unlawfully imprisoned (for 5 days) without charge and the politics behind that. It revolved around her employer in Nevada, Harvey Whitmore, who was eventually jailed for all his corrupt practices.

Back to the science!

To cut a very long story short, Dr Judy Mikovits, a research scientist, discovered an animal-human virus, the XMRV (Xenotropic Murine Leukemia Virus-Related Virus) in patients with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS). I called it an animal-human virus because it could only have been created by the passage of viruses through mouse tissue. That is, by manufacturing some medical products, like vaccines, where viruses are passed through animal tissues when cooked up, and then injected into humans, they, in fact, have infected humans with animal viruses.

A total of 67% percent ME/CFS patients were found by Judy Mikovits to have this murine (originating from mice) virus. But even more shocking is that nearly 4% of the controls also had it in their blood. That means in the USA alone, at that time, at least 10 million Americans would have that virus and not know it. That represents a huge plague potential, far greater than HIV/AIDS. HIV is also a similar virus – a retrovirus.

Mikovits published her findings in the prestigious journal Science in 2009 but by 2011 it was forcibly retracted as was another confirmation study, by Alter and Lo, that found the same. (The authors did not retract, the journals retracted them).

Also Mikovits took part in a multicentre confirmation study, but, as is explained in the book, that study was set up to fail. It did not confirm her discovery, in fact, it was an “un-discovery”, led by Dr Ian Lipkin, the famous virus hunter. The point of the confirmation study was to put the genii back in the bottle. To shut down the work of Mikovits and silence any message she had had. But that “confirmation” study was inherently flawed, as the patients were very carefully chosen to exclude anyone likely to have the disease. They did that by excluding anyone with a range of health issues, which they argued were not ME/CFS. That is quite ridiculous because of the wide range of symptoms that ME/CFS sufferers have.

I recommend the book to anyone wanting to get to the bottom of the Mikovits saga and to understand why a corrupt medical world would go to such lengths to silence her message. That message also involved autism, that autism was caused by the XMRV virus but triggered by the stimulation of the immune system from vaccines.

In short, the book is about a medical establishment protecting the revenue of big pharma. It suggests that the activity of creating all these vaccines, using animals of all kinds, to passage the viruses through, has created a host of new viruses, which have caused new diseases in humans and have the potential for massive plagues. These new viruses are the type that do not kill the host but remain with them for many many decades and cause untold suffering. Human medical elites are responsible for these new plagues like autism and ME/CFS and they know it, but they need to silence any whistleblowers like Judy Mikovits.

Actually that is not the whole story. It is explained in the book. She generalised her claim to gammaretrovirus because of the pressure put on her. But XMRV is one of the retroviruses. So it is not excluded. She never retracted. That is false. Don’t rely on the mainstream journals. They’ll take her out of context if necessary.
