The theology of Freemason John Nelson Darby known as Dispensationalism is a heresy that has now been entrenched in the church since about 1900. Most aspects of Darby’s teachings are exposed. Darby was a leading proponent of pre-Tribulation Rapture of the church as well as a millennial age of the Jews who he said will be saved as a nation by who they are are. The doctrine of Dispensationalism was heavily promoted into the Evangelical Church through Cyrus Schofield’s Reference Bible (from the early 1900’s) and through Larkin’s charts and maps.
I believe in the amillennial approach to eschatology as explained here. However I never accepted Dispensationalism as a method of understanding scripture. It is confused and chaotic. Stay away from it!

No matter! All the rhetoric man can come up with either “yay” or “nay” about dispensation…as a believer in Jesus’ teachings He said….….”occupy until I come.” Far too much emphasis today is arguing about this. Go about doing good like Jesus did. Be the church right where you’re planted. One day….when we all get to Heaven what a day of rejoicing it will be. Man (including the most renowned preacher (🧐) as intelligent as he might be interpreting scripture – will bend the knees before HIM. Far too much “talking” in this video. Preach CHRIST and HIM crucified. Period

How very irrelevant is this! One day….when we all get to Heaven Jesus will wonder and ask…”and where are your jewels for your crown?” All the rhetoric in this video will mean diddly squat at Jesus feet. Preach. CHRIST! And Him crucified. Risen!!! And coming again. REGARDLESS OF WHEN!!!! Arguing about it!! Why??? What a very large waste of time this video was. It will NOT matter in Heaven what our beliefs are then. Only thing that will matter is “what did I do for Jesus while on earth.” This video is derisive!!! These ministers need to preach Jesus. Only Jesus. PERIOD.

Actually you may have missed the point of the doco. It is not about eschatology but about salvation by grace and grace alone. There is none other under heaven whereby we must be saved. During some of the alleged “dispensations” JN Darby postulated salvation by works. And remember the Apostle Paul devoted an entire book (Romans) to dispell such a false teaching.

When into video about 10 minutes I shut
It down! Far too many people today are busying themselves with wanting to be heard. That’s what I got from it. Not kidding. In our churches here in BC Canada the same. Too much talk. Far too much “social religion”. But …. People are dying without Christ! Preach salvation! PERIOD! Nothin’ else. We’ve become “big ears” out there wanting to hear everyone’s opinion. Oh brothers and we sisters in Christ WHAT Will we have to give account for?!? I’m praying for myself that in every opportunity God gives me at age 80 to be in season with the good news Jesus Died and paid for salvation of sins great price tag. Blessings brother.

None. No one ever who has breathed a breath of air could WORK hard enough to earn Christ’s Gift. Hallelujah. By GRACE we are saved by faith. And that only.

“distinguish the dispensations and all is easy” (St Augustine)
“The dispensation of the grace of God that was given to me for you (gentiles)” (Ephesians 3:1-10)
It’s delusional to claim that a hermeneutic that presupposes ‘israel’ means ‘israel’and ‘jew’ means ‘jew’ and ‘gentile’ means ‘gentile’ is confused. What’s confused is when we take what God says to Israel of the church.

It has always been one dispensation, that is of grace. Salvation came/comes by no other way. No OT Israelite was saved by national identity. Only by grace, through trusting in the Living God.

Do you think it’s possible you’re allowing your reasonable objection to salvation by works in Darby to obscure the fact that that’s not the essence of dispensationalism? I know dispensationalists who assert that faith is the standard in every dispensation.
However it’s not possible that the dispensation of grace covers all history. Paul declares in Ephesians 3:1-10
It was given to him by revelation
It was kept secret from other generations
It concerns the gentiles being joint heirs joint members and joint partakers.
None of this is compatible with Jesus words “don’t go to the gentiles” “don’t give childrens bread to the dogs” or with Peter saying to Cornelius “now I must not regard any man as unclean” or with Romans 9-11 which describe gentiles as wild olive branches grafted contrary to nature.
Note non-dispensationalists like John Stott and Martyn Lloyd Jones both said Ephesians 3:1-10 is something new.

It is quite clear to me that God, through Paul, (Ep 3:-10) made a clear change in His program to reach the Gentiles with the grace of God. But that is not “dispensationalism” as defined by Darby and Larkin. In fact, I would say one has nothing to do with the other.

Thank you for posting this documentary. Some of us care deeply about pure doctrine. What better way for the devil to deceive us than to introduce an unbiblical way of viewing all of Scripture. The are 2 covenants, not 7 dispensations. https://www.ligonier.org/learn/articles/dispensationalism

Fascinating to note that OSAS originated from Hyper-dispensationalism and Pauline dispensationalism. I reject OSAS and dispensationalism but for many I know this is not the case. God bless.
