The Hebrew roots doctrine within the Evangelical Church is satanic. It is another gospel that requires or encourages adherents to study Judaism, with all its religious rites, Sabbath observance, food rules, signs in the moon, feast days, Passover, and all the rest of it. That is Judaism, a failed religion, which was abolished by our Lord in 70 AD when He destroyed the second Temple.
Jesus Christ is our high Priest after the order of Melchizedek, without beginning and without end. His sacrifice paid all our sin debt to the Father. There is no longer any need of sacrifices and oblations. It is done and dusted! All in Christ are made alive, no matter who you are or where you came from, if you call out to Jesus.
6 I marvel that you are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ to another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
Galatians 1:6-7
This the same problem that the Apostle Paul faced with the church in Galatia. There were those who would pervert the gospel with law keeping or Sabbath observance or some such. But in Christ we are free from all those things, which the Apostle Peter described as a dog returning to his own vomit.
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants [slaves] of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage [enslaved]. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22 But it is happened to them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
2 Peter 2:19-22
The acceptance of Judaism into the Evangelical Church is a satanic ploy to destroy the true gospel. Some, John Hagee for example, teach that Jews do not need to hear the gospel because they are under a different covenant and have no need of Christ’s saving grace. That is a lie of Satan from the depths of hell.
Some so-called Christians align themselves with Jews, and put themselves under the rabbis. Make themselves subservient to the teachings of the rabbis who reject Jesus Christ, the one and only Messiah. They even teach that the rabbis have deeper knowledge of the Bible even though that knowledge is from the Talmud, Kabbalah or Zohar. These are the traditions of men and Jewish mysticism, which Jesus condemned.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed [condemned].
Galatians 1:8 which is repeated in verse 1:9.
Anyone who preaches any gospel except that of Christ’s saving grace for all regardless of who they are, is condemned by God. There is only one way of salvation, and that is through the Door, Jesus Christ (John 10:9).
Before his conversion the Apostle Paul, a Pharisees and respected teacher of the law and traditions of the Jews, persecuted and killed Christians.
13 For you have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion [Judaism], how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: 14 And profited in the Jews’ religion above many my equals in my own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
Galatians 1:13-14
Paul was an adherent to Judaism, which means following the devilish doctrines of the rabbis. That is ‘the traditions of the fathers’, the Talmud, which were esteemed above the Bible by a significant percentage of Jews. But God wasn’t done with Paul and He miraculously showed him who is God.
Following that, Paul was used of God to expose the false brothers who came into the assembly of the believers to pervert the gospel and put the believers back under the bondage of Jewish law.
4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privately to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: 5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
Galatians 2:4-5
These false brothers are the millions of satanic Judaizers within the Evangelical churches today. They promote the messages of Christ’s enemies rather than the true gospel. The end result is bondage again.
Give no ground to the enemy! Reject the deception of saying the Jews are God’s special people when they utterly reject their Messiah. Their Talmudic teachings do not use Jesus’ name but call Him Balaam. They teach that He is in hell boiling in hot excrement.
We should not follow any teachings of the Jews religion, especially Talmud and Kabbalah. The so-called bible codes — Gematria — comes from Kabbalah and Zohar. It is demonic mystic practices of the Jews which they picked up from Babylon. But many Christians have promoted it. Chuck Missler, a prominent Christian Zionist promoted the view of hidden messages within the Hebrew scriptures. That is divination, which the Word of God expressly prohibits (Leviticus 19:26). Hidden meanings of words is Jewish Kabbalah. That practice is an inroad to another gospel.
1 O foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been evidently set forth [clearly portrayed], crucified among you?
Galatians 3:1
The Apostle used the word ‘bewitched’. The Greek word used there means ‘to malign, to fascinate’ which reminds me of the way a serpent mesmerises his prey. This is what Jewish Kabbalah is like. It is serpent knowledge and divination. It maligns the true gospel of Christ.
I could write: O foolish Christians who has bewitched you with law keeping and traditions of Judaism? Reject all those heresies, all those attacks on the true faith of Jesus Christ!
Jesus Christ came and died on the Cross for all our sins. He opened the Door to the Father for all regardless of race or ethnicity. There are no privileged or special races of people to God. God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34). All are justified in Jesus Christ. He is the true Israel of God and if you abide in the Vine you are in Him and you are the chosen ones.
4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in Me.
John 15:4
The prophet Malachi foresaw the day when the Hebrew roots would be burned up and destroyed.
1 For, behold, the day comes, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yes, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that comes shall burn them up, said the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Malachi 4:1
The true root of the Olive Tree or the Vine is Jesus Christ. He is both the Root of Jesse (Romans 15:12) and the Branch of David (Jeremiah 33:15). The natural branches (the Jews) were broken off because of unbelief and the wild branches (the non-Jews) have been grafted in because of their faith in our Lord and Saviour. John the Baptist said of those calling themselves Jews:
9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say to you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children to Abraham. 10 And now also the axe is laid to the root of the trees: therefore every tree which brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Matthew 3:9-10
The trees John is referring to here are those of Israel who consider themselves the natural branches. John under inspiration is saying that if any tree does not bear good fruit, a saved soul, a believer in Christ, it is to be cut down at the roots, and cast into the fire.
Judaizing or becoming familiar with Hebrew roots or Hebrew language to know the Lord Jesus Christ counts for absolutely nothing. But more than that, it is a perversion of the true gospel of Jesus Christ.
