As much as black is white so ends the similarity between the Christian and Jewish faiths. They are not equivalent in any shape or form. Religious Jews do not even worship the same God as Christ’s followers do. The religious rabbis say so themselves. Their Babylonian Talmud tractate Gittin 57a:3-4 states that Jesus Christ is now in hell boiling in excrement (feces).
To those who claim that the Talmud does not teach that, Israeli Orthodox Rabbi Eitan Baghdadi would disagree with you. In the rabbi’s own words,
There’s no end to the punishment of those who deceive and lead astray. Their suffering will only be equal to that of the cursed one [Jesus]. The Talmud says that the founder of Christianity has been sentenced to boil in feces! A pile of boiling feces! Excrement from the bowels of humans, cats, dogs, lions, and tigers!! Boiling and bubbling feces! That’s where he is, right now.

The Son of God, the Jewish Messiah Jesus said to the rabbis, the scribes and Pharisees, that they worship the devil (John 8:44), not our Father God. So how could the two faiths share anything in common?
Some antichrist “Christians” even say that the Christian faith is the continuation of Judaism. But the divide between the two faiths is as a chasm so wide that you can’t see the other side. Jesus said:
34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which kill the prophets, and stone them that are sent to you; how often would I have gathered your children together, as a hen does gather her brood under her wings, and you would not! 35 Behold, your house is left to you desolate: and truly I say to you, You shall not see me, until the time come when you shall say, Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord.

Jesus said, “You shall not see Me [again], until the time come when you shall say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord’”. He said this during His lament over Jerusalem, signifying that His public ministry would end and He would not be seen again by the people until they acknowledged Him as the Messiah. The phrase “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord” originates from Psalm 118:26, a verse traditionally associated with the coming of the Messiah. It was shouted by crowds welcoming Jesus into Jerusalem.
There’s your chasm for you. Jesus is their Messiah, as foretold in their scriptures, but the Jews reject Him and His followers. Therefore there can be no connection between faith in Christ and the antichrist religion of the Jews. Antichrist here means that they oppose Jesus Christ as the Messiah. Even ethnic Jews who convert to follow Jesus Christ are hated and shunned by the religious Jews.
The following I quote JD @LostMyHats on X.com who responded to the comment that even though Jews don’t worship Jesus they have the same God and therefore are on the same team.
Christians and Jews are on the same team? That is not theology. That is sentimental hallucination.
Scripture could not be clearer. Jesus told the Jews of His day, “If you knew My Father, you would know Me.” He told them they neither knew Him nor His Father. John 8 says those who reject the Son do not have God. First John 2 says, “No one who denies the Son has the Father.” That’s a line in the sand, drawn by the anthropomorphic toe of God.
Jesus Himself said to the Jewish leaders, “You are of your father the devil.” That was not a compliment and it was not ecumenism. He did not say they worshiped the same God with a slightly outdated covenant. He said their rejection of Him proved they did not know the God they claimed to honor.
And Jesus made the point even sharper when He said, “If you believed Moses, you would believe Me.” He anchored His entire identity in the writings of Moses. He did not say Judaism without Christ is a sincere parallel faith. He said unbelieving Jews do not even believe their own Scriptures. According to Jesus, rejecting Him is proof that someone does not truly believe the Torah they claim to defend. Moses points to Christ. If you refuse Christ, you are refusing Moses.
Jesus said, “He who is not for Me is against Me.” There is no neutral lane. No shared foundation. No parallel covenant. No separate-but-equal faith. If you are not for Christ, you are against Christ. If you reject the Son, you oppose the Father. That is the standard Jesus gave, and He did not carve out exceptions for American politics.
The New Testament does not teach two parallel faiths waving at each other across history. It teaches one God, one covenant, one Mediator, one Name under heaven by which we must be saved. If you deny the Son, you do not have the Father. If you reject Christ, you reject God. Judaism without Christ is not incomplete Christianity. It is defiant unbelief.
Stop pretending we are on the same team. The team is Christ or nothing.
That is perfectly said. There is only one Way, one Door to salvation and that is through Jesus Christ. You cannot approach the Father by any means other than through Christ.
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you had known me, you would have known my Father also.

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Faith through Christ is the ONLY WAY to know the Father. Thus the Jewish religion is a worship of the impostor, the thief who comes only to steal, kill and destroy.
The Christian message in the New Testament is that all people are inherently sinful and in need of salvation (Romans 3:23). All have access to salvation, but only through Jesus Christ, who paid our debt to the Father by the shedding of His blood on the cross.
23 for all sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified undeservedly by His grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation [atoning sacrifice] through faith in His blood, for a demonstration of His righteousness through the passing over of the sins that had taken place before, in the forbearance of God, 26 for a demonstration of His righteousness in the present time, for His being just and justifying the one that is of the faith of Jesus.

His atoning sacrifice on the cross sealed the New Covenant in His blood. Jesus justifies to the Father all those who have faith in Him. On the other hand
Judaism does not see human beings as inherently flawed or sinful and needful of being saved from it, but rather capable with a free will of being righteous, and unlike Christianity does not closely associate ideas of “salvation” with a New Covenant delivered by a Jewish messiah, … Judaism holds instead that proper living is accomplished through good works and heartfelt prayer, as well as a strong faith in God.
In the core beliefs that matter there is absolutely no correspondence between the Christian and Jewish faiths. Their similarity is as much as faith and works are the same thing.
27 Then where is the boasting? It was shut out. Through what law? Of works?
No, but through a Law of faith. 28 Therefore we count a man to be justified
by faith without works of Law.Romans 3:27-28 KJ3
The religion of the Jews is about keeping the Law, living a good life and doing good works. But none of that can save you. None of that can reserve you a place in Heaven with the Father. Therefore it is a useless religion of works of the Law.
8 For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
