This is my response to the article published January 28, 2021, by Fr. Matthew Schneider, titled “If Any Drug Tested on HEK-293 Is Immoral, Goodbye Modern Medicine”. Obviously from a catholic perspective. His general thesis is captured in what he wrote:

The author lists many drugs which he says have been tested using the HEK-293 embryonic cell line, which is the one he focused. I have not checked the validity of his claims, but if true, I say no medication should be used by a true believer in the Lord if it was developed with or tested on embryonic cells. Some investigation might be needed to find ethical alternatives. There are many in the natural (alternative) medical world. For example, I no longer use any pain medications at all. Not even paracetamol. I have found good alternatives that are non-toxic chemicals.
No cooperation with evil
This seems to be a discussion of whether it amounts to remote or proximate cooperation with evil. The author argues that because the abortion on which the cell lines were established occurred a long time ago thus the cooperation with evil is remote. It’s like saying that the level of sin has now been diluted down to a miniscule level so you are ok to take advantage of what comes of it. It is no longer sinful.
I remember some years ago when I read about Lipton testing their tea with fetal cells. From that moment on I chose never to drinking that brand again. But many foods, vaccines and other products have been tested with or developed with human fetal cells. See the list here. Don’t consume any processed foods and you’ll avoid those companies’ products.

It is not the same case with a murdered person donating organs. Accepting that person’s donation, where he/she gave prior consent, is not cooperation with evil, whether it be proximate or remote. But the cells of the murdered baby used to make the cell lines were not given by consent, whether the abortion occurred yesterday or 50 years ago. It is generally alleged that the abortion happened a long time ago and was committed by someone other than those who use the cells now. So that makes it morally acceptable?
Schneider writes that the HEK-293 cell line may be used to study old medications, which means the medications pre-dated the practice of testing on embryonic cells. That makes a difference. The drug existed long before the practice so a later unethical practice of testing it with the cells hardly makes taking the drug unethical. However I acknowledge the problem, the remote cooperation with evil. There must come a point where one does not cooperate with evil, and sometimes when it is remote it is hard to see. But when one learns whether aborted baby cell lines were used, that should change your stance, from that moment forwards.
Any direct acceptance of the fruits of evil that has a continuing presence in or with a product that we might take or consume should have an impact on our decision making. By that I mean that once we learn that fetal cells are still being used we should discontinue our use of that drug, food, drink or substance. Yeah and it might mean rejection of a lot of modern medicine and much of the “foods” from industrial processing. Eat clean whole foods close to the farms, avoid all the processed junk and you won’t need any chemical pharmacy poisons.
The example of Nazi doctors doing often-fatal hyperthermia experiments on Jewish prisoners in concentration camps is frequently brought up. Do we ignore all knowledge because it was gained immorally? The real question is: are we still doing immoral experiments? The continued use of baby cells is unethical and immoral.
Using Vatican documents a catholic priest-theologian has formed the view that it is “mortally sinful” to take one of the current abortion-tainted experimental COVID-19 gene-therapy vaccines. That means he believes if you do you will go to hell. It certainly is satanic and God will judge those responsible.
Writing under the pen name of “Father Elias”, he wrote “If your friend steals someone else’s car and then offers to sell it to you cheaply, it would be a mortal sin to buy the car, even if you were personally opposed to the fact that it was stolen. The morally tainted condition of the car being stolen makes it objectively mortally sinful for you to buy it. And likewise, being personally opposed to the evil of abortion does not of itself exempt a person from mortal sin through accepting the use of a baby murder-tainted vaccine.”
In an earlier article, Schneider writes that he does not know if the HEK-293 cell line was derived from an abortion or a miscarriage. I say it is disingenuous to keep mentioning miscarriages. The apologists are trying to soften the language. “Oh, a baby died and mother agreed to donate its cells.” No way! The fact is that many many electively aborted babies were used to establish the cell lines. This is one place where the issue of fresh meat comes in. See below.
New embryonic cell lines
Previously I have argued that new cell lines would be needed because of a supply problem with the existing ones. Here Schneider makes this very point. In 2015 a new cell lines was developed. Walvax-2 was made expressly because MRC-5 line was failing. Schneider wrote:

In regards to Walvax-2
The newest cell line created in 2015 for vaccines: WALVAX 2 is taken from the lung tissue of a 3-month gestation female who was ultimately selected from among 9 aborted babies. The scientists noted how they followed specific guidelines to mimic WI-38 and MRC-5 in selecting the aborted babies, ranging from 2-4 months gestation. They further noted how they induced labor using a “water bag” abortion to shorten the delivery time and prevent the death of the fetus to ensure live intact organs which were immediately sent to the labs for cell preparation. And in fact, many new human embryonic cell lines have been created after the beginning of the Obama regime (in 2009). Here is a list of 485 available at the moment on the NIH Human Embryonic Stem Cell Registry site that can be used for medical research including new vaccine development. Human baby murder/sacrifice in the abortion and IVF industries is everywhere now and God will judge all such nations who are involved in such practices. Psalm 9:17.
In 2020 LifeSiteNews reported “NIH approves 70 new human embryonic stem cell lines for use in federally funded research.” Francis Collins NIH director, an Obama appointee, was involved. Strangely enough he is supposed to be a Christian. Those new cell lines came from the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Israel. Collins approved of and defended their use.
Those cells were not all derived from elective abortions but when they were the baby had no choice in the matter. Many cells come from donated IVF embryos. Very convenient. Create a baby and kill it for research. It is still murder. Yes, IVF involves murder often of many siblings for the realisation of just one baby. Read: man plays god. Where have I heard that before? The Tower of Babel?
Fresh Meat
On fresh meat this article links to a discussion with Dr. Theresa Deisher. I excerpt below:
Judicial Watch Sues the FDA to Obtain Records on Purchases (June 28, 2017) of “Fresh and Never Frozen” Fetus Parts for HIV/AIDS Research
Last week we published an interview between Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Dr. Theresa Deisher regarding the use of human fetal tissue to culture viruses for vaccines.
Most of the COVID vaccines being developed are using human fetal tissue to culture the coronavirus.
One of the more interesting questions Mr. Kennedy asked Dr. Deisher was why the manufacturers of vaccines switched from exclusively using animal tissue to culture viruses for vaccines, to start using aborted fetal tissue some years back.
Dr. Deisher’s reply was that the industry was getting a lot of pressure from the animal rights movement to stop using animals for experimentation.
Mr. Kennedy was shocked, and stated:
It’s kind of weird to think that the animal rights activists have more clout with the vaccine companies than do the anti-abortion activists.
Dr. Deisher replied:
They do. And you know what’s really alarming is the lack of outcry over human babies born alive at five to six months old so that their hearts can be obtained beating. And they have to be beating to be used in the research that’s being done.
If the heart has stopped beating, it’s not useful. You cannot use it.
And so these babies are delivered alive, and their hearts cut out without anesthesia.
I wouldn’t do that to a mouse….
The interview is available here.
Judicial Watch reported that in regards to ABR ordering the desired type of fetal tissue:
Among the specific characteristics are that the tissue be “Age range 16-24 weeks” and “Tissue must be fresh and never frozen.”
This reminds me of quotes I found in early vaccine development. For example:
“Human embryos of two and one-half to five months gestation were obtained from the gynaecological department of the Toronto General Hospital…No macerated specimens were used and in many of the embryos the heart was still beating at the time of receipt in the virus laboratory.” [Emphasis added]
Joan C. Thicke, Darline Duncan, William Wood, A. E. Franklin and A. J. Rhodes; Cultivation of Poliomyelitis Virus in Tissue Culture; Growth of the Lansing Strain in Human Embryonic Tissue, Canadian Journal of Medical Science Vol. 30, 231-245, 1952.
You would be hard pressed to find such admissions in modern scientific literature. But it seems to be still with us. It is Satanism. There is no other term for it. How many more unborn babies and small children need to be sacrificed to their god, Molech, Baal or whatever they call him?
I conclude that if what it takes to reject the use of murdered baby cells is the rejection of much of modern allopathic medicine, then, so be it.
