If you regularly read my posts here you would know that I do not believe that the big bang ever happened. It is simply not part of my biblical worldview. But I am very interested in interpretations of observational evidence that those who do believe have for the ever increasing finds that challenge that paradigm.
The discovery of Little Red Dot (LRD) images with very large redshifts by the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is very difficult to explain in the big bang story. The data is usually interpreted that these objects existed around 500-700 million years after the initial big bang beginning of time. But based on the standard model they must be too massive for that time period. There would not have been sufficient time for billion-solar-mass galaxies to have evolved.

Anton Petrov, in the following video, does a good job explaining the problem. And he is a big bang believer.
At present LRDS number about 400. They could be almost anything from brown dwarf stars in our galaxy to extremely distant galaxies with lots of dust.
Here Anton Petrov explains that they could be primordial black holes formed at the time of the big bang. In that model the mass of the black hole is several times larger than the mass of the rest of the stars in the galaxy containing the black hole at its centre. But that defies the usual explanation of how galaxies form.
Allegedly stars formed first, followed by an accumulation of matter (gas, dust and stars) over time building towards the formation of a central black hole.
But in this case it would have to have been a compact central black hole created first, followed by an accumulation of matter (gas, dust and stars) surrounding it. You can visualise this like our solar system, with the central black hole, surrounded by matter, a much smaller amount by fraction, in Keplerian motion around the BH.
As I have said for a long time, this tells us that the big bang story is extremely flexible, so that, whatever is observed can be fitted into it regardless of how absurd it may seem. This is another example. Now it is primordial black holes spun out from the initial expanding spacetime singularity.
Since these LRDs have very large redshifts and they are being labelled as QSO (Quasi-Stellar Objects) or active galactic nuclei (AGNs), they may in fact fit into the model promoted by Halton Arp and Geoffrey Burbidge. That is they are quasars, or AGNs, ejected from the core of active parent galaxies in a creation process.

That model expects certain discrete redshift values, which are intrinsic and not due to Hubble expansion of the universe. Therefore the objects need not be so distant but much closer and less massive. Some may have proper motion which means they cannot be on the edge of the universe. And from a different study 41 quasars were found to exhibit proper motion.
By delinking their large redshifts from cosmological expansion, but as a result of some intrinsic process, the LRDs would also fit into a static universe where there is no cosmological expansion. See my Related Reading list below.
Cosmology is not operational science. It greatest flaw is that it is untestable. Any observation can be manipulated and fitted into the ruling paradigm. So do not be fooled. Cosmology is Not Science! Therefore the big bang story is not science. It is story-telling. And here we have more of that.
