Revelation 14: The Final Harvest

The book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ describes through visions given to the Apostle John events that have occurred and those that will occur up to the return of Jesus as King.

And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Zion, and with Him an hundred forty and four thousand, having His Father’s name written in their foreheads.

Revelation 14:1

Jesus is the Lamb of God. The vision shows Him standing on mount Zion. In Psalm 2 we read that God says:

Yet have I set My king upon My holy hill of Zion.

Psalm 2:6

That Psalm speaks of Christ God’s son. He is King of kings and leads Zion the spiritual embodiment of the kingdom of God. Ephesians 12:22 shows that Zion is the heavenly city of living souls, not physical Jerusalem.

Now compare verse 1 with verse 9 (below) as well as with Revelation 7:3,4.

Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

Revelation 7:3,4

God’s servants are sealed in their foreheads with the mark of God (Ezekiel 9:4). In our case it is with the seal of promise, pledged and purchased by Christ (Ephesians 1:13,14).

This is relevant to the interpretation of Satan sealing his servants in their foreheads. The conclusion must be that the seal or mark is non-literal, and related to the free choice of people who choose to follow either Christ or Satan. The seal is in the mind or the soul and symbolised by the forehead, not a literal barcode or chip in the head.

This is contrasted with those that receive the mark of the beast in the hand (Revelation 13:16-18). There it would seem that some technology is required to prevent someone from buying or selling (in the market place). Though computer-brain implants are now being developed it seems that free choice about who you choose is important here.

What about the 144,000?

And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

Revelation 14:2,3

We see from this verse that they “were redeemed from the earth”. They are saved born-again believers. That we know for sure. But in chapter 7 verse 4 they are also described as “of the tribes of the children of Israel”. So it could be a references to the born-again Jewish believers.

All saved believers are children of Israel. The true Israel. See Roman 9:6-8. Only those “in Christ” are Israel. God chose His elect regardless of their national origins, Gentile or Jew. There is no privilege to people claiming to worship God as Jews but reject Jesus Christ as Saviour. The message of the Old Testament is all about Jesus Christ. He finished the Old Covenant on the Cross. Judaism therefore is another false/fake religion. Messianic Jews are the faithful Jews who are now born again believers in the Messiah Jesus Christ.

In chapter 7 we read that 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel are sealed by God. And then in verse 7:9 we are told “a great multitude” stood before Christ in white robes symbolising salvation. But note in that verse 7:9 we read “After this I beheld…”. John has another vision of the great multitude from all nations , all ethnic origins, including Jews and Gentiles. So the previous vision of the 144,000 in verses 7:4-8 is a different vision to what follows in verse 7:9. Thus the great multitude includes the faithful Messianic believers as well as all Gentile believers.

Therefore the text suggests two cohorts of believers, Jewish and non-Jewish. This is consistent with the two witnesses in chapter 11, which describes the two witnesses as being symbolic of the Jewish and non-Jewish believers. All believers regardless of race are included here. Only by the shed blood of Jesus Christ can any be saved; never by national identity.

The fact that they are the cohort of saved believers is supported by the following verses 4-5.

These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the first-fruits to God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile [deceit]: for they are without fault [blameless] before the throne of God.

Revelation 14:4,5

See Matthew 25. They are virgins, meaning the bride of Christ, never married to another. They are not all males either. Again this expression “not defiled with women” is symbolic of the bride of Christ. They are the first-fruits offered to God.

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come: and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Revelation 14:6,7

I think this is very significant for our current time. I have personally found that many people are now turning to God. It seems that this is something they are doing prompted by the Holy Spirit. People tell me that they were recently an atheist but now they have felt lead to seek God. And I mean this has happened to them without a human preacher.

These people I am commonly meeting when I go to freedom rallies and protests. It is as if God is calling them to the front, even though they may not be aware of that yet. It is like the fish, that the Lord wants us fishing for, are circling around in these now pools at the protests against the COVID tyranny.

And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath [anger] of her fornication [unfaithfulness].

Revelation 14:8

The evil Satanist cabal is well characterised by what Jesus called them. He said they say they are Jews, but are not. They are the synagogue of Satan (Revelation 2:9 and 3:9). These are the Cabalist/Talmudic Jewish Masonic New World Order. I am not referring to ordinary Jews. They are victims in this too. They are being used to serve the agenda of International Jewry — the Zionists who seek world domination.

I believe “Babylon is fallen” refers to the ultimate demise of the ruling elites. They have been ruling over the world for a long time but now we can see their destruction coming.

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

Revelation 14:9,10

Very clearly it is expressed that if anyone worships the beast (the satanic cabal global system of control both financial and social) and its image (the global AI based digital control system, using digital currency, digital ID etc) they shall be sent judgment by God. But it is about the worst kind of punishment you can imagine.

And the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name.

Revelation 14:11

This is judgment, hellfire! They are tormented forever. All this judgment comes from God, the Righteous Judge.

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. 13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from hereafter: Yea, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.

Revelation 14:12,13

The children of God remain faithful to Christ. They don’t deny His name and as a result many of us will die for our faith. The expression “die in the Lord from hereafter” tells us it is not the past but from now on. Many believers will die because of their testimony, for their belief in Jesus Christ.

And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like to the Son of man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.

Revelation 14:14

This describes Jesus Christ. He has a crown on His head. The Greek word is “stephanos” meaning the laurels given to a victor. Jesus is Judge. He has a sharp sickle to reap the harvest.

Remember the parable of the wheat and the tares? Matthew 13:24-30. The weeds were reaped along with the wheat, but the weeds were gathered up and burnt. These events only happen in the Day of the Lord, when Christ finally returns and judges all mankind, both the living and the dead.

Put you in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great. 14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision [judgment]: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. 15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

Joel 3:13-15

This prophecy in Joel uses the same language. The wickedness of man has reached as much as God can stand and He now will judge the world. Many are in the “valley of decision” which is the valley of judgment. All are judged for their deeds done on Earth and for their decisions for or against the Lord Jesus Christ.

And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in Your sickle, and reap: for the time is come for You [Jesus] to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16 And He [Jesus] that sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

Revelation 14:15,16

The agent here is Jesus Christ (the Son of man from verse 14). This is the final harvest, both of the righteous and the wicked.

And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. 19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Revelation 14:17-19

This is the final and major reaping by the Lord. It is the judgment on the wicked as well as the saved. See Revelation 20:11-15.

And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs [Greek: stadia – the length of the track for chariot racing].

Revelation 14:20

The language here is symbolic. Like the wine coming out of a winepress blood is symbolic of the death. All iwcked living and dead are judged. No one is left out. No horses bridles were used. It simply illustrates the level of judgment on the wicked.

This is the final judgment on man. And it sure looks like we are rapidly headed for that now. The deaths will be in the billions from the toxic COVID shots being given now at a rate of more than 20 million per day globally. The devil may bring them but he is just an agent in God’s hands. It is Jesus, the Son of God, who is judging the world right now as we experience the COVID tyranny. He is bringing this on the earth.

This is the final harvest!

Many Democrats began turning to God and ceased to be atheists leading up to the election of Trump in 2016, after becoming aware of the evil associated with Hillary & Bill Clinton and associates. Ex-Clinton pilot Larry Nichols, Roger Stone, Alex Jones, illegitimate son Danny Williams, victims Juanita Broaddrick & Sarah Ruth Ashcraft, as well as others who had much to do with exposing their wickedness.

Acknowledging the existence of the Creator is just the beginning of the road to discovering the reality of Lord Jesus Christ and entering into an abiding personal relationship.

Jesus then said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”….But when the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. (John 8:31-32,36)

I respect your the work you’ve done on the distant starlight problem John. I find it interesting that you are prepared to take bible verses literally when it comes to say, light speed being instantaneous, but you seem happy to take a non-literal interpretation for verses in Revelation 14? You say the mark is non-literal, the 144 thousand are not literally male and the blood does not literally reach to the horse’s bridle? You may be using other parts of the bible to interpret Rev 14, but we can also do that to arrive at a literal interpretation. E.g. the horses bridles are the horses that Jesus and the armies of heaven are riding (Rev 19).

Noel, You are welcome to interpret the prophecies as you like. That is your choice and it is up to you and the Lord. I am not telling anyone to believe what I teach. But amillenialism is within standard orthodox biblical teachings. It is not my invention. BTW, I do not say the mark of the beast is non-literal. You didn’t read all of what I wrote on that.

In relation to distant starlight, the text of Genesis 1-11 is definitely historical narrative and must be taken as such. But there too I would not describe it as literal. It is narrative and some time use metaphor etc. However a lot of Revelation is symbolic as is clearly evidenced in the text itself.

There is a bit of symbolic reference in the book of Revelation, but that blood coming out of the press of God’s wrath I think is very literal. That prophesy in Rev 12:1 has already manifested back in Sept 2017 – back around the time of the last tetrad of blood moons.

Perhaps the reference to chariot racing is a reference to Rome, which the Rabbis identify as Esau. Meaning that the “messiah” will slay all of the gentiles.

Like

The use of the word ‘stadia’ was just a measure that was understood at that time. There is no reference to chariot racing in fact. The language is symbolic to indicate the extent of the judgment.
