Chapter 19 follows on from chapter 18. So you should read my posts on chapter 17 and chapter 18 before reading this one.
I use the eschatological scheme known as historical: spiritual . Under this scheme we allow the Holy Spirit to interpret for us (with reference to other scriptures) what the prophesy means to us today. If the scriptures are for us all then we need to believe that God wrote them to us all whatever era we live in. 1 John 2:27
Below I reproduce the verses of Revelation chapter 19, with my comments following.
And after these things I heard a great voice of a multitude of people in Heaven, saying, Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power, to the Lord our God:
Revelation 19:1
In Revelation 18:23 we read “the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in you,” which implies the time of salvation is over, as the servants of God are taken from the earth in the resurrection. I contend that these are those multitude of people mentioned in verse 1. They are seen in Heaven praising the Lord, because only in Him is Salvation.
2 for true and righteous are His judgments: He has judged the great whore who corrupted the earth with her fornication, and has avenged the blood of His servants at her hand.”
Revelation 19:2
In this chapter we see two separate events happening:
- The marriage supper of the Lamb, where the believers, the true Bride of Christ, are resurrected, caught up to attend the blessed fellowship with Christ in Heaven. Verses 1 – 10.
- The second event is a parallel to the above, this time called “the supper of the great God” (v.17) where God’s enemies are judged. It occurs immediately after the above event. Verses 11 – 21. This is more wrath but this time all out total judgment. The great whore is judged and the death of the believers who are killed by the whore are avenged. This whore is that synagogue of Satan, globalist banksters, humans who fornicate with Satan, whom they falsely claim is God.
3 And again they [the multitude of believers in Heaven] said, Alleluia! And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.
4 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts [living creatures] fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, Amen! Alleluia!
Revelation 19:3,4
Smoke is symbolic of prayers and praise to our God Jesus Christ. Clearly this is happening in the throne room of God. In chapter 4 we read of the throne room. There is much conjecture about who these 24 elders are. I don’t believe they can be New Testament saints because they, like all believers over the past 2000 years, they are to be resurrected at the very end just before the final wrath and judgment of the wicked. They are more likely the resurrected Old Testament saints who were resurrected after Jesus resurrection. See Who Were Those Resurrected After Jesus’ Resurrection?
The 4 living creatures are something quite different. They could be symbolic of heavenly beings, even angels, but their description seems to symbolise the attributes of God. “Full of eyes” implies omniscience, all seeing (Revelation 4:6,8). Being likened to a composite of a lion, a cattle, the face of a man, and a flying eagle (Revelation 4:7) could imply omnipotence, all powerful.
5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all you His servants, and you that fear [reverence] Him, both small and great.
6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, and the voice of many waters, and the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia! For the Lord God omnipotent reigns.
7 Let us [the believers, the assembly of God] be glad and rejoice and give honor to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife has made herself ready.
Revelation 19:5-7
The great multitude (Revelation 7:9) are those saved, servants of Christ, the believers, the assembly, are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. They fear or reverence the Lord.
He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great.
Psalm 115:13
8 And to her [the assembly of God] was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white; for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
Revelation 19:8

11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man who did not have on a wedding garment.
12 And he said to him, Friend, how came you in here not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
Matthew 22:11-14
Those at the wedding are clothed in fine linen as it represents the righteousness we have been imputed with by Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross. There is no righteousness of our own that gets us there, only the shed blood of our Saviour. Those without the wedding garment, fine linen, are cast out and judged. Though many are called, many rejected Christ. Only those who are the called, the elect, who cannot or do not resist the calling are saved from eternal hellfire.
For He [God the Father] has made Him [Jesus, God the Son] who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
2 Corinthians 5:21
9 And he said to me, Write: Blessed are they that are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said to me, These are the true sayings of God.
Revelation 19:9
There are no others anywhere except those at the marriage supper, the saved who are resurrected to eternal life, and those “cast into outer darkness”, or the resurrection to damnation, the final judgement of God. Those at the Lord’s marriage are His bride and those who miss it are not (Matthew 25).
There is only one return of Christ and that happens when the graves are opened the second time (first time was after Jesus resurrection), all the righteous are taken; there are none “left behind” because the rest are immediately judged. See At the resurrection who is left behind?
28 Marvel not at this; for the hour is coming in which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice 29 and shall come forth — they that have done good, to the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil, to the resurrection of damnation.
John 5:28,29
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, See that you do it not! I am your fellow servant and one of your brethren, who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Revelation 19:10
The messenger here is one of the multitude praising God. He is one of the resurrected saints. God is not bound by time, so in the spirit this resurrected human is seen in the Apostle John’s future, in vision, telling John not to worship him because he is a human like John.
Now we start the second vision here in this chapter.
11 And I saw Heaven opened, and behold, a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He does judge and make war.
Revelation 19:11
The rider being described as Faithful and True can only be Jesus the Christ. He is the Creator of all things and all power is given to Him in the Godhead to deliver judgment on earth. Earthly events end in this age with Christ’s return to judge the world.
Let the heavens rejoice and the let the earth be glad….. before the Lord. For He comes, for He comes to judge the earth [that is, the people]; He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with His truth.
Psalm 96:11, 13
The Lord judges in His Truth, and He is Faithful to fulfil all His promises. Therefore….
Let us hold fast [firmly] the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;)
Hebrews 10:23
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written that no man knew, but He Himself.
Revelation 19:12
His eyes like a flame of fire is similar to other descriptions of Jesus I discussed in Revelation 10: The Little Book. The many crowns signifies that He is king over all kings on Earth. See verse 16.
16 And He has on His vesture [robe] and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Revelation 19:16
Here He tells us His name plainly.
13 And He was clothed with a vesture [robe] dipped in blood, and His name is called, The Word of God.
Revelation 19:13
A robe dipped in blood from His death on the Cross. His name is the Word of God, because He is the Logos, the eternally existing Word (John 1:1-3).
14 And the armies which were in Heaven, clothed in fine linen white and clean, followed Him upon white horses.
Revelation 19:14
Who are these armies? They must be the saved sinners who are clothed in Christ’s righteousness; that is the meaning of the fine linen, white and clean. They are riding white horses as is Jesus. What does that signify? The obvious answer is God’s purity and righteousness. That means the riders are sinless before God.
One thing we can conclude is that the saints are now with Christ. They are no longer on Earth.
15 And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword [the Word of God] with which He shall smite the nations, and He shall rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Revelation 19:15
Christ and the Word are synonymous. He will return at the end to judge the world (all nations) by the standard in His Word. The meaning of to rule them with a rod of iron can be understood from the following.
You [Jesus Christ] are My Son, this day have I [God the Father] begotten You. 8 Ask of Me, and I shall give You the heathen for Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for Your possession. 9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
Psalm 2:7-9
For those who are not broken in Christ will be judged and destroyed by His Word. The next verses of Psalm 2 tells us who He is talking to.
10 Be wise now therefore, O you kings; be instructed, you judges of the earth. 11 Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son, lest He be angry and you perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him.
Psalm 2:10-12
The rulers of the earth need to repent and fear God, else they will be judged and perish, not inherit eternal life but inherit eternal burning in hellfire under God’s wrath.
What now follows is the final destruction of all evil on Earth. No believers are on Earth; all have already be taken to the marriage supper of the Lamb.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together to the supper of the great God,
Revelation 19:17
What follows is the supper of the great God. It is more the marriage supper of Satan. It is what the evil ones get for following Satan. Could the fowls signify the reaping angels who do God will?
18 That you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
Revelation 19:18
The kings and leaders of man, the banksters, the rulers of nations and governments, including the UN and WEF corporate leaders, will be destroyed and their flesh eaten, which means killed, i.e. they will have no more flesh, but sent to the lake of fire. The list includes all those who fight against God.
Here the symbolism is two armies, God’s army and Satan’s army. They are both symbolised by riding on horses. White horses for God’s army but no colour is given for the horses of the enemies of God.
I suggest that the imagery in the vision described by “the flesh of horses and of them that sit on them” is the same as that used in chapter 6, the 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse. They were coloured white, red, black, and pale (green). They all brought death and destruction, through pharma drugs (sorcery), engineered wars, famines and diseases/plagues.
Compare the rider of the white horse here (vs 11 and 12) to the rider of the white horse in Revelation 6:2.
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given to him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
Revelation 6:2
God’s army is lead by Jesus Christ. He wears many crowns (Gr. diadema, crowns of royalty) because he is the King of kings. He brings eternal life to those who trust in Him and eternal death to the wicked. The King of kings’ weapon is a sword coming out of His mouth, the Word of God.
The counterfeit of Christ is antiChrist, who brings only death, war, famine and disease. This ruler also rides a white horse and wears a crown (Gr. stephanos, laurels to the victor, more conspicuous and elaborate than the simple, narrow fillet or diadem).
The antiChrist’s weapon is a bow (and arrows). The Greek word translated “bow” is “toxon”. The ancients used poison tipped arrows as weapons and this signifies the toxic (bio)weapons used today against the population of the world. They have presented the toxic shots as something good “safe and effective” against a manufactured pandemic. This program is devilish and its lead by the beast, the antiChrist leader of the current and developing world government ridden or driven by the synagogue of Satan (the whore).
19 And I saw the beast [possessed of Satan], and the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to make war against Him [Jesus Christ] that sat on the horse, and against His army.
Revelation 19:19
The beast is possessed by Lucifer who never “dies” but the kingdoms he controls change, they rise and fall. See Revelation 17:3 and 12:3.
The beast system, i.e. the whore, the assembly of those who follow Satan, and all their minions of the WEF/UN and satanic leaders of nations are already now fighting against God. It is easy to imagine that they will ramp this up as time progresses towards the LAST DAY when Christ returns for His own.
Whoever the supreme leader — the beast — is, or there may be several (they keep their identity hidden), he is using everything he has at his disposal now as he ramps up his satanic agenda against the saints on Earth. The imprisonments have already started for those who speak the truth, preach the whole Word of God, and I expect this will only get worse. Possibly we’ll soon see that the Bible will be banned or at least portions of it will be.
20 And the beast [the leader of the synagogue of Satan] was taken, and with him the false prophet [who directs others to receive the mark of the beast] who wrought miracles in his presence, by which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire, burning with brimstone.
The image of the beast could be the technology to achieve the Matrix like digital prison. No need for a physical prison if you lock billions of minds in a virtual prison controlling every aspect of their lives. This includes digital ID and digital currencies. Many people today love this type of tech. Can you imagine what “miracles” could be done in the metaverse?

The beast is the antiChrist leader of the synagogue of Satan. See Jesus on the Synagogue of Satan

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who secretly shall bring in damnable [destructive] heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious [ruinous, hellish] ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness [avarice, greed] shall they with feigned words [formed as needed] make merchandise [trade] of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not. (emphases added)
2 Peter 2:1-3
21 And the remnant [of the Christ rejecters] were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the [white] horse, which sword proceeded out of His mouth. And all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
Revelation 19:21
This is a symbolic battle that has been going one for long time. It ends when God’s judgment falls at the end of the age. There is no earthly physical battle of men on horses and birds eating up their flesh. Birds here signify angels who wield God’s scythe cutting down all God’s enemies. It is a spiritual concept in the same way Babylon the great has “the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.” (Revelation 18:2)
The Word of God, Jesus Christ kills the unbelievers who rejected Him. They are those who wilfully hate Christ else they would have come to Him and received His free gift of eternal life.
And whosoever [name] was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 20:15
